After a full day of sight seeing and adventuring you will love to come home to our comfortable cozy condo located in the city limits of beautiful Traverse City. The Blue Heron is perfectly located across the street from West Grand Traverse Bay where you will want to play at the beach and sip wine as you experience the beautiful sunsets.

We are a short walk to all of Traverse City's unique shops and wonderful restaurants. A scenic drive will take you out to the award winning wineries on Old Mission Peninsula and the Leelanau Peninsula. A bike ride on the 10 mile TART trail is awaiting you right out your door. Your children will enjoy a day of play at F&M park while you grill your dinner on the many grills provided directly across the street. Traverse City and the surrounding area has an endless list of adventures for you to explore including: golfing, boating, casinos, bike/boat, kayak , SUP rentals, hiking trails and cultural activities such as Interlochen Center for the Arts, Old Town Playhouse, not to mention our National Lake Shore just a short drive away.

Our comfortable cozy condo is fully stocked for your convenience. We have wood floors on the main level with a nice balcony to enjoy morning coffee. The spacious kitchen overlooks the main living area and is fully equipped with a full range and oven, a microwave and new dishwasher. We also supply a coffeemaker and a kuerig along with a full pantry. We are happy to provide a large smart TV with High Speed Fiber Optics Internet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms each with their own private bath, queen bed, and TV. The primary bedroom also has patio doors to a nice balcony.

Across the street is a large perfectly maintained public park with playground equipment and several grills. Also, right out of our building door is a large bike rack.

As the new owner of the Blue Heron, we want to assure all of our guests that you will continue to receive high quality service. We also will try to accommodate flexible schedules so please email for information about variable stays. Please note that we do not have elevators and we politely request no bachelor/bachelorette parties.

This is one the the nicest properties I have stayed at. It is comfortable, clean, well-stocked, and the location in Traverse is perfect....right in the heart of everything! The Manager is fabulous, and responds immediately. We were there for a wedding, and also to visit the casino, and this condo worked out perfect for four adults. Went to the top of my list of homes to revisit in the future. You will not be disappointed!

5/5 StarsTitle: Perfect Girls’ Weekend Stay!We came to town in August for a girls’ weekend, and the Blue Heron was spot on with their description of the property and amenities! The space was clean, very quiet, and had plenty of room for five adults. The air conditioning kept us cool, and there were convenient parking spots available.A thoughtful bonus was the stocked toiletries, a full kitchen with multiple coffee options, plastic bags, and even some pantry items. The location was perfect—walking distance to downtown, the lake, and the beaches!The host/manager was amazing, a great communicator, and offered wonderful suggestions for things to do and places to eat.This place is truly five stars, and we highly recommend it for a great stay in Traverse City.

Great place, well furnished overall. I could ask for more laundry soap (2 pods only) compared to the abundance of other soaps, paper towels and toilet paper. Communication was the most I’ve ever had but almost to the point of being too much. Manager called two days prior to checkin to go over details and provide guidance
not email or text but a phone call. The day of checkin she was waiting for us. Once she found out we were running behind she requested a call to walk through the place after our arrival. And then two days before checkout I had a text with the standard checkout procedures.

Perfect!

The condo was perfect! So well stocked for cooking, so clean and a perfect location! We walked easily to town, and biked around as well. The property manager was so helpful! Highlights from our short trip: old mission lighthouse (about 25 min drive north- worth every second!) the beach is clear and shallow for miles
and not crowded! We also rented a pontoon boat at torch lake for a day- loved this! My kids loved biking around Boardman lake. We had an amazing time, and the condo was PERFECT for our family of 4!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfectly located for exploring Traverse City and the surrounding area. We traveled with a 1 & 3 year old and the condo worked out well for us. The unit came with a pack and play and a baby gate!We would certainly book this condo again.

Lovely condo -- very clean, quiet, and convenient to all downtown Traverse City sites -- Little Fleet, Front Street, lakeside parks, etc. Loved that it comes with a parking spot! We would stay again to enjoy a downtown Traverse City vacation or weekend.

There is nothing that this condo didn’t have. It is a stunning place to stay. Located a short walk from town it is also an easy drive to the airport and surrounding tourist destinations. We loved spending time at this beautiful property.

This was our second stay. Love the condo. Decorated so cute and very clean. The personal touches are great. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and chocolates! The proximity to downtown TC is great! Nice to be able to walk to the local shops and restaurants! The perfect place for a getaway!

Property was very clean and maintained. Lisa the property manager was friendly and showed us all the amenities upon our arrival. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom. Close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Will definitely book this unit again!!

Birthday weekend in Traverse City

The unit was beautiful. Decorations were cute but not cheesy. Even though we needed very little in supplies Lisa made sure everything was available in the kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed that each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom with another 1/2 bath on the main level. Lisa also provided great recommendations when asked - best cherry pie, farmer's market, and vegan restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

I am originally from Alpena, Michigan. My husband and I along with our two daughters moved here in June 2001 from New Buffalo, Michigan. We raised our children here and it was a fantastic community to raise our daughters. Our daughters are now married with families of their own. Our oldest daughter lives with her family in Orlando, Florida and our youngest is with her family in Verrado, Arizona. The girls love to come back to Traverse City with their families every summer for an extended period to enjoy all of the wonderful opportunities our area has to offer. We love all things outdoors. It doesn't matter if you are a summer lover or a winter lover, we have all of the activities you would want for a Traverse City vacation. I am excited to be a host because I love watching and hearing others enjoying our wonderful community.

I think the Bay Park condos (Blue Heron) are the perfect Traverse City location as we are only one block from a beautiful beach, and walking distance to all of the quaint shops, incredible restaurants and bars and the beautiful West Bay waterfront including Clinch Park Marina. We are only one block from the 10 mile long TART trail. We also are lucky enough to have the beautiful F & M Park directly across the street. I also love the architecture of our buildings. They are so very inviting.

Our Blue Heron condo is very spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and each has a brand new smart tv. We have a full size stackable washer and dryer. We have two balconies to enjoy with a very pleasant view. High speed Internet has recently been installed and the entire condo has three brand new smart tv's where you can tap into all of your favorite apps. Our condo is impeccably clean and offers many personal extras.
