The apartment was exceptionally clean and in a great location to walk to the beach and bars. Parking worked out and the hosts were able to provide us with an extra spot for our guests one day. The hosts were very accessible, however we experienced several glitches with the VRBO app.

Sweet little Apartment

Sweat apartment across the street from the ocean. Apartment had all the amenities that you'd want. Easy parking, great area, and wonderful owner.

Served our needs and close to the beach.

We chose this condo for the price and the convenience of the location which made it easy for us to come in from Mystic and explore Block Island and Newport each day so other than to sleep, we didn’t spend much time in the condo. It was small and basic but served out needs well.

Perfect beach getaway

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and I have no doubts that we will be back. The apartment is as described and portrayed in the photos. It's cozy, clean and perfect for people who just need a Homebase, but spend most of their time outdoors. Lovely walks in the neighborhood and on close by East Matunuck Beach.

Quiet perfect location

We arrived to a very clean apartment. The location is excellent. One parking space out back is awesome so we don’t need to pay for beach parking. One beach is a 5 min walk to the right. And the other is a 15 min walk to the left. Two great music, food, and drink spots down the street don’t sound loud in this quiet little apartment. The kitchen is great and well supplied. Also the grill outside gets hot fast and can cook your steaks perfectly. The rooms have low ceiling fans that are quiet and the kitchen has an A/C in the window. Also we love the ice cream place up the road and can’t wait to return and try all the flavors!

The property was as described and very clean. The hosts were also responsive. However, we had two issues. First, there is not enough parking in the back to fit 5 cars. I had to get in the passenger side and climb over to get to the driver’s side. This wasn’t a huge issue but just a nuisance. The biggest issue is the smell at the beach. While I understand that the property owners cannot control this, I feel it is deceptive to not let renters know. The smell was so bad that we could not sit at the beach and we could smell it at the apartment. It was not just during low tide. Our clothes smelled like it when we returned from the one day we walked to the beach. It smelled like rotten fish/sewage.
