The property you originally booked, Sulla Sabbia, sustained damage from a recent hurricane, and we made arrangements to move you to a new property as soon as the repair schedule was confirmed. We understand that the options provided were not exactly what you were looking for, but they were chosen to ensure you had an oceanfront experience during your stay. The property you stayed in has since had the HVAC condensation issue resolved, and Sulla Sabbia will be back in service by November 2024. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we deeply regret that we were unable to communicate with you more effectively during such an unexpected situation. When you informed us of your decision to leave the property before the storm, we mentioned that conditions for returning would be uncertain until the storm had passed. Unfortunately, the storm caused significant damage, including the roof being blown off, and it also led to widespread communication outages, which hindered our ability to reach out to you in a timely manner. We apologize for any distress this may have caused. Communication with our guests is a top priority! We are relieved that you and your family were safe, and we understand how disappointing it must have been to return only to find the property uninhabitable. This was certainly not the experience we intended for you, and we appreciate your understanding during these challenging circumstances. The homeowners are currently working with their insurance company and local vendors on repairs to the property and expect it to be ready for guests by November 2024. While we cannot change what happened, we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a much more positive experience.
