It's an 18 minute drive to Stableview for you equestrians and only 4 minutes to Bruce's Field.

Enjoyed our stay at this rental, close to Horse racing venue and uptown Aiken which has many nice restaurants and venues. Comfortable bedding and well stocked kitchen.

We never stayed at the property as we pulled up and our family felt very uncomfortable and concerned with the neighborhood. There were transient individuals walking around and within a block congregating with bags of beer cans visible. And neighboring homes were boarded up and/or in a poor condition. I can't speak to the inside of the home but even outside it was in a worse condition than the photos online. In the end we left the property and had to find an alternative location to stay. I immediately reached out and although offered another property I had already found something as I was unsure about any other property the owner had since I didn’t feel safe with this home. I requested a refund as I do not feel the listing accurately described what was surrounding this home. I have received no response so I would not recommend this property due to the neighborhood.

Lovely little home

This was the perfect home for a quick getaway to Aiken. The home is lovely, well appointed, very comfortable and well located. Communication was great, and everything was easy and straightforward.

Horse week in Aiken

My daughter and I cam to Aiken for a week of riding horses with our team from Ohio. This little cottage was perfect for the two of us, and being right near town made it convenient.

Wonderful place

The Gentry is a delightful, cozy 2BR, 2BA house, which we chose for its proximity to the Highfields Event Center. Super convenient, with comfortable beds (a very important fact!), everything we needed in the kitchen. Hopefully we’ll be able to reserve it next time we’re in town for a show.

Comfortable Cottage

My daughter and I were in Aiken for a horse show and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable cottage! Very convenient to the showgrounds - about a 5min drive, easy drive from the Augusta airport - about 30min, and super close to the shops and restaurants in downtown Aiken. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and quiet - we’ll definitely be back!

A great place in an “opportunity neighborhood “

This cute little vintage house is very handy to downtown Aiken and the city’s extensive Equestrian facilities. The area is being gentrified and is quiet and peaceful, but some of the nearby properties are a bit run-down yet. The landlady is a Gem and runs a great little restaurant a short walk away.

Very well appointed little home

The house was just what we needed. Everything was nice . The property is not in walking distance to downtown really and the neighborhood is a little rough. But we were comfortable.

Aiken Short stay

Cute tiny house that was clean and comfortable. Location wasn’t our favorite for Aiken, and backyard that looked cute online had multiple outdoor cats hanging around so we didn’t get to enjoy that space due to allergies.

Dream Horse Haven

Almost hate to let the secret out on this. We just loved our stay at The Gentry. The location was perfect for us. My daughter was showing at Highfields and it is maybe a 5 minute drive if that. Easy access to cute downtown Aiken. The house was so well provisioned and the owner responded quickly to any questions . The house was spotless and we loved the outside area in the back of the house . Hope to come back many times for other horse shows! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Perfect Aiken stay

The house was adorable and located close to all Aiken has to offer. The owners were accommodating and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. I would 10/10 recommend this stay and I will definitely book here again when I come back!
