Plenty of space for our family group of 11. Parking was easy for 2 mini-vans. Multi-story house so older people may need to be aware of that. Due to the tub height, the second story bathroom tub/shower was a little difficult to get in and out of. House has a lot of character/quirks due to the age, but we enjoy the type of house. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay again if in the area.

Nice stay. We were able to accommodate several adult family members, including a toddler and infant. We were challenged to keep the children off the staircase. However, several baby gates were provided.

What a great property! Our family vacation was enriched by staying at this property. It was gorgeous. Good room flow in the downstairs area. Plenty of room in the kitchen. Love the backyard area even though we didn’t get to use it since it rained but it was one of the reasons we booked it since we had 4 grandchildren with us. The only thing we weren’t used to was sharing the bathroom with the floor. Sometimes, we had people sitting in the hallway waiting their turn! Haha! Everyone agreed it was fine. They were raised in a large family, so it brought them back to their childhood. The location is ideal. Centrally located to most everything we were interested in visiting. Great stay and will book again, if we’re all in the area again!

Absolutely beautiful house, very clean and absolutely perfect for my friends and I to all stay in while we visited for our friends' wedding! The host made the check in and check out process really simple and easy. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and for baking cookies and spacious enough for multiple people to move around without issue. The stairs between the second and third floor show the home's age and tilt inward. Something to be aware of if you have anyone in your party afraid of heights or who may have balance issues. Another thing to note was that the bedroom just at the top of the stairs on the third floor did have a bit of a lack of airflow, but sleeping with the door open and the hall fan on was fine. Overall, really enjoyable stay and we'll for sure come back if we're in the area!

Our group enjoyed the historic home in a historic neighborhood. It has lots of character. There were plenty of beds, towels, and wash cloths. We couldn’t get the oven to work. But we improvised and it didn’t affect our stay. We had breakfast down the street at Damn Fine Hand Pies. It was also a good find.

We have stayed at a lot of VRBO places over the past 14 years with our groups. This was undoubtedly the most accommodating and welcoming property we have ever stayed at. It was fully equipped, had more-than-adequate towels, dishes, utensils and space. It made the trip so much more enjoyable for our group. I would stay here again in a minute! Property is about 20-25 minutes from the airport, which is super convenient when arriving later in the day. When you walk in the house you are greeted with a clean and airy foyer. The house is truly awesome. Stained glass windows and large baseboards. The bedroom arrangement was super convenient with the large group I had. The home owners were very easy to deal with and attentive to our needs. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO houses all over the country and this one is top notch

Hello! We're Ted and Ann, your friendly hosts! Ted is from Southern California originally, where he met Ann, a St . Louis native. If we fast forward about 15 years, we moved to St. Louis to enjoy a slightly more relaxed lifestyle with our kids. Now we operate two short-term rentals and our own cleaning company. (So much for relaxed.) We love the seasons and impressive parks here, and appreciate the free museums and zoo! It's a wonderful place to raise or just visit with kids, but there's plenty for adults as well!

Shaw is one of the most beautiful historic districts and we are lucky and humbled to own a home here! It's a lovely neighborhood for walking, plus the botanical gardens and Tower Grove Park are adjacent. It's so convenient to everything with plenty of nice restaurants mixed in!

Our home in Shaw has been lovingly maintained since 1906. We were enamored from the first visit by the original details, especially the foyer that peaks all the way up to the 3rd floor. Plus, it sure is nice having a long driveway! Another unique feature of our property is, well, us! Local owners who will do everything we can to make your stay perfect!
