Perfect Getaway

Cottage is beautiful, clean, a short walk to the beach, well stocked, and everything you’d want for a vacation spot. Hosts were excellent. We will be back! Highly recommend.

Winter escape

We spent six weeks there soaking up the sun and escaping the winter cold in NY. The house is as described and pictured. The property manager quickly addressed any questions we had. We loved the location-close to the beach, restaurants and Jaycee park playground.We had a great stay!

Great stay!

My biggest priorities are cleanliness and safety, this property is 10/10 on both of those. It is also very close to the beach (5-10 minute walk) and close to places to eat etc. The property manager and owner are easy to work with and very responsive. It was not clear to me from the listing that the second bathroom is accessed from outside, it is a perfectly fine bathroom and the door is right outside the kitchen.

Awesome Trip

This place was perfect, a block from the beach perfect place to relax at night after being out all day. We made breakfast every morning our family came over during the day walked to the beach. Plenty of room for the kids to shower and watch TV. Property management company was great gave us some excellent food recommendations (Cream Republic). Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for a short or long stay

We were very happy with the property. The manager was always available. They advertized an outdoor shower. Turns out it was a toilet shower sink and washer and dryer. Plenty of linens. Even found some coffee and creamer in the cabinet. Close to beaches. So many resturants. Just lovely!😍 will book again

Pros & Cons

Pros: Close to beach. Detergent for clothes and dishes was provided. There were fresh coffee grounds and powdered creamer ready to use. Bath towels were thick and soft. Beach towels are provided and beach chairs. House is nicely decorated and clean. Cons: If you are a serious cook be warned there is no potato peeler, pie pans, no scissors to open food packages, no dish rags only a sponge to wash dishes. The window blinds in the back bedroom do not completely cover the windows so there is a problem with privacy. You need an electrical degree to figure out how to adjust the heat and cooling. The steps at the carport doors are a little dangerous. The top step is too narrow and easily missed.

For me, nothing beats waking up to the sounds of the ocean while making breakfast. My morning walks are are so satisfying in with the ocean breeze and sun, and in my thus far, I could not be anymore pleased with how mellow and easy to get around our neighborhood is.

The proximity to the beach is where my love for this property really came into play. I am very grateful to be part of such a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood.
