This is a fully renovated house situated on 14 acres in Litchfield County, CT.
This is a 5 bedroom estate - 1 king size bed, 3 queen beds, 1 bedroom is a dedicated office with a full size leather futon. 2 full bath/2 half bath, 8 guests maximum.
Saltwater pool, 5 seater/1 lounger hot tub, outdoor dining area, 6 seater fire pit, 8 seater table in dining room, 4 seater breakfast table in kitchen, exlarge jacuzzi in primary bathroom, wood burning fireplace in living room. Completely private.
Listing is for the entire house. Extremely private. No shared spaces. Please read all rules and policies before booking.
Events - unfortunately we do not allow any events/wedding/large parties at our house. We firmly stuck to this policy as we've had poor experiences in the past.
Smaller shower on first floor - please note that the shower currently isn't working with full pressure. The repair is scheduled for end of Sept 2026.
Guests - Only the registered guests are allowed, no others guests are allowed during the entire stay ( day time or night time). This is for insurance and liability reasons. Any guests that violating this rule will have the trip cancelled immediately with no refund. This is strictly monitored.
Landscaping/Hot Tub/Spa/Pool/Oil/Propane/Waste Recycling/Amazon Deliveries/Arborists Companies - while we make every attempt to have the maintenance done on non booked days, we can not guarantee that these companies won't be there during your stay. Please mind your pets during these times.
- Amazon deliveries will have access to open the garage, delivery items and then close the garage door. They normally come between 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm - Pool and hot tub normally take 2 hours to clean the pool and hot tub.
- Landscaping - 6 hours to finish. While we make every effort to have a manicured back yard, cutting is only weather permitting. The area to the right and left of the back yards are hay farms and are cut on our farmers schedule. Be careful of ticks with pets. - Tree arborists are there monthly anytime from 8 am to 6 pm for 3 hours to maintain the treelines. - Oil and propane refilling takes 30 mins. Garage trucks will drive to front of house at 6:30 am on Tuesdays, but can be any time on weekdays. - Trash pickup between 6 am to 9 am on Tuesdays but can change due to weather. We have no control of the scheduling. Pick up takes 5 mins.
They will not have access to the house and will only be working outside. Just typical of maintaining a large estate unfortunately. Please keep this in mind when booking.
Early check-in/Late check-out - Fee applies. You will need to get explicit approval for early check-in and late checkout as we have a lot of coordination to do beforehand. Otherwise you can expect my cleaning crew to show up at 11:15 am on the day of checkout as they have a tight schedule and massive workload with very little time flexibility. They have my approval to start cleaning even if you and your guests have not haven't checked in time.
Cleanliness Expectations - please to keep the property tidy and clean throughout your stay.
Excessive Cleaning Fees - Cleaning fees will apply if the property is left excessively dirty. This is at the discretion of my cleaning company. An invoice of the extra costs will be provided and you will be required to pay the fees.
Hot tub - is available all year round and is kept at 101F. Professionally cleaned before each stay.
Kitchen - Fully stocked kitchen ( cutlery, pots, pans) with enough cutlery for 10 guests.
Smoking - there is no smoking allowed indoors. $500 smoke cleaning fee applies.
Bedrooms - professionally installed blackout blinds in every 4 bedroom upstairs. First floor bedroom has light filtering blinds.
Cameras - 24/7 recording 5 exterior cameras covering all angles of the property and 1 video doorbell for monitoring purposes. No interior cameras.
Cleaning - professionally cleaned/sanitized and professional laundered before and after your stay. My team takes great care to leave the home in pristine condition.
Wifi - 600 mbps mesh wifi network, strong by the pool too.
Thermostats - 1 thermostat on each floor (dual zone) controlling central AC/Heat. Set to your preferred temperature within 68F to 74F.
Please don’t rearrange the furniture - We have found scratches on the flooring in the past and we a strive to maintain this home to a near pristine condition.
Smart 65 inch TV/Sonos soundbar with apple TV. Don't forget to logout of your apps.
Washer/dryer on first floor laundry room.
Drip Coffee/Creamer provided.
Access to garage and basement prohibited.
Power outages/power surges - We have a full house surge protector to protect your electronics. We have a full house generator but it will not power the hot tub nor pool, will only have enough power for indoor appliances and amenities.
Internet outages - We can not guarantee internet reliability. We rarely have any issue and if any, they are resolved within hours by Verizon. We have seen internet issues during storms when downed trees affected service for more than 12 hours.

Loved this home! The property is beautiful. My kids loved the pool and hot tub and just running around the enormous yard. The kitchen was fully set up with pots and pans, and there is a gas grill; so cooking was a breeze. And the owners were so responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Everything they described.
The home was exactly as listed. We had a small getaway with our dog and some friends. It was a wonderful home, spacious, and open. We had no problems communicating back and forth with the owner, all communication was prompt. Our dog absolutely loved the abundance of space, and we loved their deck and bbq. Even in the winter the home was amazing, both outside and in.

Disaster of a host
***BEWARE***We had a very unpleasant experience staying at this property and a horrible experience dealing with the host. It all started when we arrived at the house at the designated check in time and the house was occupied by the host himself who forgot that we were coming that weekend! So the house was not ready for us and we needed to wait for hours after our designated check in time for the house to be cleaned! After we finally got access to the house, we discovered that there was basically a bedroom missing because it is used as a home office and there was no “sofa bed” as advertised, but a deflated air mattress stuffed in the closet. The host also notified us only after our checking in that the hot tub was not working, and it remained out of service for the entire duration of our stay. After some back and forth with the host, who acknowledged these issues and said he would compensate us for the inconvenience, the host has stopped responding altogether and has retaliated by filing a fraudulent damages claim for $5k.

Marina and her guests won't be welcomed again. They were looking to find faults from the very start so they could demand compensation instead of fair resolution.
There was a mix up in scheduling and the place was available 1 hour after checkin. The guests came an hour early but yet we gave them the option to stay at the place and relax on the deck but chose not to. They put their luggage and groceries and left.
There was compensation offered for the hot tub, but the guests had no intention of a fair compromise, only exorbitant compensation. It very well documented that it's an airbed not sofa bed. They damaged our place, we have proof and insurance has vetted this.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The property is stunning, everything was so seamless, and we were so comfortable in this charming New England farmhouse. The host was responsive at all times and so welcoming. The light in the house and the views out the windows kept us commenting on the natural beauty around all weekend! There were significant winds during our stay, and the generator popped right on and saved the day! Couldn't recommend this property enough!
