The space
One of a kind Cabin House with a small Waterfall in the woods! 3 Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms (Bedding for 6/Max 7). Cabin on 4 acres. Front and back porches are fully covered and both have numerous rocking chairs with beautiful wooded view.

If you are looking for a relaxing change of pace to your hectic lifestyle or just a fun family getaway, visit our cozy and peaceful cabin The Lazy Bear, located in a rustic and secluded atmosphere on the southern end of the Cumberland Plateau. Enjoy the sounds of nature and at certain times of the year, you may hear the waterfalls located behind the property.
The cabin's main entry has a split bedroom open floor plan with with living room, kitchen, dining area, and both full size washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils to cook a complete meal including cooktop, convection microwave/oven, 7-1 instapot, Duo coffee maker with regular coffee grounds and BBQ with a limited supply of spices. The living room is furnished with 2 leather couches and smart 55 inch TV. We offer Internet, and board games, puzzles and reading material for your enjoyment.
Our cabin features a Master bedroom with a comfortable King size bed, leather chair, 42 inch Smart tv and a private bathroom with large shower. and walk in closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a Queen size bed and direct access to the second bathroom with a shower. ***Please note our Cabin has bedding for 6 but we allow for 1 extra guests. There is an Extra Person fee for over 6 guests $10 per night. Children under 3 are excluded from fee.
After a full day exploring our area, you may want to relax on the covered front or back porches in one of the many Log Rocking Chairs. There is a gas grill for your meals in the evenings, propane is provided. There is an outdoor Fire pit for evening fires, roasting marshmallows, enjoying a glass of wine or just enjoying the many stars!
We are conveniently located to Fall Creek Falls (voted #1 State Park in TN), Rock Island State Park, and Burgess Falls. Also within easy driving distances are Virgin Falls and Cummings Falls. The waterfalls, hiking, horseback riding and kayaking in our area are abundant! Try horseback riding, Zip Lining and Golf at Fall Creek Falls. Check out Kayak Adventures to visit The Queen at Burgess Falls, Tara and Eddie are fantastic!
Also conveniently located to shopping in Sparta, Cookeville, and McMinnville. A day trip to Chattanooga is a must to visit one of the many attraction including the Chattanooga Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls, a sunset cruise on the Southern Belle, and various shows just to name a few. Also great dining in one of the many restaurants in Downtown or North Shore!
Also a fun day trip to Nashville is 1.5 hours away with many Honky Tonks to enjoy and explore in their downtown!
