The space
DESIGNED based on what worked for us traveling the world with for both work and family fun.

INSIDE a historic cottage with modern, attractively designed interior
- A well-equipped kitchen with large fridge, new range, microwave, coffeemaker, seven seat table, lots of storage.
- Breakfast foods, snacks, condiments, lots of coffee & tea options, hot cocoa, plus all the utensils, dishware and pots and pans you'll need
- An antique clawfoot tub in the master bath; modern walk-in shower in the half bath. Both equipped with grab bars.
- 3 smart TVs (bring your own passwords, no cable or local TV)

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
- A comfortable king size memory foam bed in master bedroom
- 4 twin beds in upstairs cruise ship themed bedroom; note angled roof 6'3" maximum clearance
- 3 convertible couches for larger groups
- Pack n play crib on request

FREE FOR YOUR RECREATION NEEDS
- For young guests: swings, mini basketball hoop, tricycle, scooter & more.
- For adults: Stationary bike, bowflex machine and weights set
- Beach gear to borrow, including umbrellas, beach blankets, folding chairs, beach toys.

KAYAKS available for a fee to navigate our inland waterways
- Gazebo with fire pit for our rare cold nights

OUR COMMUNITY AND REGION
- Long Beach is a walkable, bikeable mid-size an ocean front city which welcomes people of all races, nationallies and sexual orientations.
- We are a convenient spot for visitors to So Cal's traditional tourist spots, with Disneyland to the east, Hollywood northwest and the vast expanse of So Cal oceanfront starting just a mile away.

GETTING TO LONG BEACH
- We highly recommend our local Long Beach airport, an easy 15 minute drive from your home away from home. Second best: John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. We ENCOURAGE GUESTS to avoid crowded, slow-moving LAX if you can!

>You enjoy privacy plus as much advice or help as you need from a family that has learned what it means to be gracious hosts in our -reliant travel on three continents.
Other things to note
Diversity and tolerance are core values for our family and our Long Beach community. We welcome guests of all races, religions, nationalities and sexual orientations. We have raised four children here and your children will be welcomed.

BY BOOKING WITH US, YOU AGREE TO OUR RULES FOR A SAFE & RESTFUL STAY:
1) Third party bookings are not permitted, meaning that the person booking must actually be staying at the , and you must provide the names of all guests
2) Parties and gatherings with people not on the reservation are not permitted on the property and that your own group, out of respect for our neighbors, will observe outdoor quiet time from 10pm to 7am.
3) This is a strictly no smoking, no vaping property, including the yard. Violations will result in a $250 penalty and a requirement to leave immediately. (Two of our adult children have their own homes in another building sharing the same yard, and smoking is an important issue for them.)
4) You must let us know if you wish to bring a pet, as you will need to pay an extra fee and agree to our pet rules.
