Split Mountain View Paradise! Life on the farm!

This entire home has all the updates for you to relax and reenergize after a day filled with activities. Use the spacious kitchen to prepare dinner and then enjoy eating on the patio with fantastic views of Split Mountain. Trailer, RV, or boat parking is also available on the property. Take advantage of a shed to store bikes, SUPs, etc. Property is located in front of a farm - enjoy the feel of space and freedom. At harvest time help yourself to the some apricots and apples from the orchard.

Spend time at Dinosaur National Monument, Dinosaur Field House Museum, and the Dino Track's Hike. Or spend a day at one of several lakes nearby. The glassy water in the morning and night make for a boater's dream. If mountain biking is your jam check out some thrilling rides at McCoy Flats or Red Fleet. Beautiful hikes abound throughout the area. Checkout the downtown scene with "Alive After Five", "Dino-soar Days", the farmer's market, Dinosaur Round-Up Rodeo and many other exciting activities.

The house and environs were wonderful. We enjoyed hearing the chickens and seeing the sheep.I had my mother, who has dementia, with me and those sights and sounds gave her happiness.

A great city escape. Goats are very friendly. Star friendly, bring your telescope. House was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with cooking supplies. Felt like “ home”.

The house was nice, lots of beds. It was neat and clean. The surrounding yard could use a little care, but overall it was a great place to stay.

The house was perfect for our needs, in a beautiful location, close to the main road yet surrounded by open land. The property was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner broke the second day there, but the host did everything she could to get it fixed and to help us be comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We loved it

We visited the Dinosaur museum in Vernal prior to check-in. Spent longer than expected because everyone was enjoying it. Everything was ready at the house when we arrived. We quickly got settled. We enjoyed the time together. We left in the morning and got back in time for a visit to the Vernal temple. While cooking pizza I noticed the A/C was not chilling the house down. It was 2over the set temp of 72. I turned it down to 68, but it didn't lower. We were gone most of Friday, but I noticed it was 76 when I looked because I was getting warm as I cooked the pizza. I reached it to the owners who tried to get a repair person out, wuth no luck (Friday night). They arranged to have 2 fans delivered, which helped.We enjoyed our evening of Karaoke, & a family movie. It fun to have the animals. My granddaughter absolutely loved going outside to visit!We have already recommend staying here to others.

Excellent Location & Great Host

Our whole family (a party of nine) had a fantastic time at the house. Great location and the house is just as described. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Pretty cool property!

Cool country property. Lauren was great and communicated great! The house worked great for our group we weren't there a ton but the little we were it was nice and plenty of space. Only recommendation is a needs a good deep clean. All the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were all dirty and the water vacuum didn't get empty causing the house to smell but we set it outside and had no issues. We would still go back and would recommend it. I don't feel any of the issues was on Lauren and a cleaning issue.

Vernal Half Marathon trip

Bathroom sink plugged up, mold in shower. Stuff happens but inside of fridge was not cleaned either. Animals nearby fun for our grand daughter to see. HVAC, beds, TV's good. Didn't expect perfection in Vernal but who ever cleans to get it ready for the next person needs to do it as if their own family was to stay there.

Great Farmhouse in good location

The house was clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was that tge coffee maker needs to be replaced. The crank on the bar-b-que is broken and a larger garbage can is needed in the kitchen.

Amazing

Beautiful house. Everything we needed was there. Peaceful setting. Loved watching the animals. We fell in love with the neighbor cat. Will definitely stay here again.

Very simple

Just a very simple house in the country, no frills, perfect for a night or 2 with a big group, rooster and barking dogs in the sheep field behind the house,( very close to neighbor) but you cant hear them in the house too bad so that was awesome.

Spring break

This place is comfortable and the perfect retreat especially with energetic children. We had plenty of space to hang out, play games, eat, and sleep. Highly recommend!

Perfect in every way

Lauren’s place was very comfortable and very spacious. We were in town for a hockey tournament for only one night and it was the perfect accommodations for us! Thank you, Lauren for sharing your place!
