If you’re looking for a one of a kind unique place to stay
this is it! The craftsmanship is outstanding. Inside, the decor is exceptionally done and very clean. Outside, is full of natures beauty to truly enjoy. A quiet place to unwind and enjoy it all. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and our daughter surprised us with the Breakfast Basket which was full of delicious farm fresh goodies! This is a treasure and we were truly blessed to spend a few days here. Thank you Dawn and family!

Rest and reset time

We thoroughly enjoyed the grain binn. Peaceful and relaxing. Impressed with the craftsmanship and decor inside the bin. Looks like a lot of thought and time was put into this project. You created something unique for others to enjoy for whatever the occasion may be. We will definitely come back and stay longer.

Beautiful Setting and Accomodations

The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the Grain Binn is top notch and lends itself to a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing stay. No detail was overlooked and, it would seem, no expense was spared. One may think building a cabin out of a grain bin was for cost saving measures. Quite the contrary. The amount of work and investment would have been immense to make this work. The structure was clearly moved to this location for the view and privacy. The foundation was poured with in-floor heating. The temperature was in the teens during our stay and couldn't have been more comfortable and the gas fireplace warm and inviting. The quality of materials used in the construction of the cabin are genuine. Solid wood and steel construction. Beams, stairs, flooring, everything. The complexity and quality of the stairs leading to the loft is a work of modern art. Take time to admire the craftsmanship. The furniture is high-end and bed incredibley comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked including coffee, tea, snacks, water, and more. You will not be disappointed.

Little escape

This was the perfect place to spend a weekend away—a little escape! We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and so enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery, the immaculate details, and a serene space to truly disconnect from real life. The hosts were quick to respond and every aspect of the property was designed with intention. We will definitely be booking this place again!

Beautiful VRBO.

This rental was absolutely beautiful. It was so peaceful, private, and tranquil. The hosts thought of absolutely everything from complimentary toiletries to s'mores ingredients. The Grain Binn was just what my husband and I needed for our anniversary getaway. The bed was so comfortable. The bathrooms were immaculate. The soaking tub was perfect. We loved everything about it! My husband and didn't want to leave! The hosts were quick to respond if we had a question. 100% recommend! We will definitely be returning!

We are originally from the heart of a Amish/ Mennonite community in Indiana. We have a rich heritage in hospitality.
Moved to this beautiful state of Michigan some 20 years ago.
We love entertaining, taking long walks, cooking, baking, traveling,
and spending time with our family.
We have years of experience running a Bed and Breakfast, a dairy farm and owning and operating our own bakery and restaurant.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

It’s a 120 acre farm that houses all three of our rentals. We are surrounded by trees and wildlife and absolutely love it here! You will be surrounded by all of the natural beauty our property has to offer. Snow scenes in the winter, the grander of trees in their splendor of Autumn, and flowers cover the berm in Spring and Summer. Local attractions are The Bonine House, home of part of the Underground Railroad. Wineries are not far from us. Lake Michigan is within 45 minutes. So much of Michigan to enjoy .
