Complete, convenient and clean. Full kitchen had everything you’d need. Nice table for getting work done. Bed, TVs, everything was fine. Location is ten minute walk to a great beach especially if you like watching good surfing. 2 minute walk to stores and restaurants. Your own parking spot which really matters. Hosts responded very quickly and handled my dumb questions both efficiently and politely. Great for one or two people and good for a long stay.

Just ok

Nothing major but could easily be improved with little cost / effort. Negatives : Located off a noisy alley, close enough to neighbors to hear every conversation, dishes were dirty and very limited, parking is very tight. Positives: the rental is fairly priced, the unit is close to services, great shower, generally quiet at night.

Short stay over Easter

Great location and facilities. The only downside was that two of the three mornings we were awakened quite early by garbage and/or recycling pickup. Being on the alley and right next to some commercial space was distracting.But- I'd stay again.

Great stay

The place was very clean and nicely set up. The parking was easy. The host was great and directions were clear. It was walking distance to the beach. We very much enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back again.

Perfect location for a perfect weekend

Our host was wonderful and very helpful when I experienced technical difficulties with the Vrbo app. The condo is in a great location, on site parking is a game changer, and the proximity to the beach was perfect for our morning coffee! I look forward to coming back to La Jolla and I hope this condo is available when I do!

Amazing Location and Very Clean

Everything went great, was easy, and property was nicer and cleaner than we expected from the photos. Amazing location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Excellent market, restaurants, shops, and costal attractions all within walking distance. No outdoor sitting space but no need with all of the things within walking distance. Would definitely return.

La Joya Beach

Overall the place is nice with a few exceptions. Glasses and cups were not very clean. Had to wash them before using. Pillows could be a little more comfortable. We have stayed at quite a few Vrbo’s that have the kitchen a lot better stocked with essentials. The sofa sectional needs to be cleaned and deodorized. The sofa pillows smell like dirty cloths. The place is located in a very nice area and convenient. The beach is two blocks away. Grocery store is a few steps away. Mattress is great. Overall the stay was good. We enjoyed the stay and great location.

Great location!

Great location! Only downsides were lots of rules to follow and not very clean. After walking on the floor in my socks for 5 minutes, my socks were black.

The Best of La Jolla

If you are looking for a place to stay in La Jolla, look no more. The Wind and Sea Condo is in a convenient location to the beach and shopping. Walk straight down the block to the beach to catch the sunset or if you want to get in some exercise walk to the popular Bird Rock coffee shop, Pavilion (formally Vons) grocery store, or the shops and restaurants in town. The condo itself is just what we needed. Use the electronic code to enter a quaint space equipped with a faux fireplace heater in the living room. Watch television in the living room which is convenient to the kitchen. A separate bedroom also has a television and gas fireplace ! If it gets warm the air ventilation cools things off quickly overnight. Within the bedroom you have a full sized washer and dryer which was one of our favorite aspects of this rental along with the private parking space ! I plan on staying here again soon. We are so lucky we found this space.
