Vivez comme un local dans un beau et charmant studio rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©. À seulement 3 minutes Ă  pied du sable de la magnifique plage familiale de Wind n Sea. PrivĂ© mais proche de toutes commoditĂ©s.

1 chambre (sĂ©parĂ©e du salon), 1 salle de bain et une cuisine complĂšte. Chambre pour 1-2 adultes pour dormir confortablement. Lit queen size avec matelas en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire dans la chambre. Le studio dispose Ă©galement d'un canapĂ©-lit confortable dans le salon. Le studio est confortable mais se sent trĂšs spacieux! Beach Comber's Hideaway est un endroit trĂšs spĂ©cial oĂč sĂ©journer.

Grand patio privé avec des voiles d'ombrage pour manger, se détendre et se divertir. Barbecue, repas en plein air, cuisine avec cuisiniÚre pleine grandeur pour les repas gastronomiques, laveuse et sécheuse. Chien bienvenus.

The wind and sea area is lovely. This place is a block from the beach with surfing nearby. The place is smaller than it looks on line but totally serviceable. We really appreciated the Landry and all the restaurants and the walk ability of La Jolla.

The property was great. It was smaller than we had anticipated but was perfect for two. The walk down to the beach was a delight and proximity to everything was wonderful.

Wonderful location

This property is located in a beautiful neighborhood 1 block from the fabulous Windansea Beach. The apartment made very good use of the square footage and was roomy enough for our needs. The back patio added to the feeling of space. Nice remodel, comfortable bed. 2 of us stayed there 2 weeks and would stay there again. The only negative aspect is entering the building you walk through the trash can alley to get to the door. But we always felt safe and enjoyed coming ‘home’ to the cozy apartment.

Really great location!

Nice place

We enjoyed our visit to beachcomber hideaway. Convenient location with parking on the street. The unit is clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk but we found having a car is best for all the sights and activities that are in the area.

Review of Beachcomber

The location was great! It was near the shoreline and quiet. The private patio was nice. Very clean, but small, with mirrored walls in every room, which made it appear larger online. It was quite stark in terms of supplies. It would have been nice to have coffee filters, coffee, creamer, and sugar/sweetener. Additionally, there was a lack of bar soap and shampoo in the bathroom. We were required to resupply the toilet paper, trash bags, and wash the beach towels. We also had to rearrange the furnishings to fit the essential floor fan into the cramped bedroom. A pool was mentioned online, but there was none.

Nice location

La Jolla is beautiful. Sea Lions and the cove were a delight. Location on Gravilla is close to the waves and a nice walk to endless entertainment options.

A Whisper Away From the Beach

The location makes this place worth it, no question. It's just up the hill from Windansea Beach, so you can dart down to stroll, scramble over the rocks, set out your towel or watch pelicans. It is small (*really* small on rainy days!) and the kitchen fixings are very basic. The neighborhood has largely kept its charm, but there is lots of new construction (which, alas, could be loud.) Really glad we chose this overall.

Great private place with easy beach walk.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. Easy walk to the beach and to many eating options. Short drive to the La Jolla Village and many eating and shopping options. The nearby beach is dramatic and beautiful. This cottage had everything we needed.

Sweet spot

We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach multiple times each day, and having stores and restaurants close was a plus. Comfortable, well equipped and clean. I would recommend this property.

Beach hideaway

One bedroom unit with small but well stocked kitchen, plenty of dishes and cookware and a delightful outdoor space. A short walk to Windansea Beach. The place was spotless and well cared for.

Amazing location

The location is great and the apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. The only thing I would improve is that some items like the laundry basket or kitchen utensils should be replaced. It is well equipped with cookware and silverware.

Wind and Sea

Small but ok for a week! Entrance not very nice as you go past several garbage cans. Some things that should be addressed are as follows. Both chairs on the patio have broken seats! Beach chairs are rusty and very dirty. Front of the sink in the kitchen is peeling and needs repair. It could be a nice spot as the location is great. Just needs some attention to detail.

Didn't tell us about roof construction until 2 days before our stay. Stepped on roofing nail as we started our visit, luckly for owner, 1" nail went into heel instead of anyother place on my foot. I would have sued!

Damaged and some bugs

I have stayed with Sharon in the past but at a different property
This particular property was run down and damaged. I was disappointed with this property. It needs some work. Upon arrival, there were bugs on the bed, not bed bugs
 but other bugs and bugs in other areas within the place. Nice patio space for relaxing. The kitchen had some damage and had an odd smell. Decent location but run down and the wiring for the patio lights were cut and damaged.

Experience

The suite is at a fantastic location. 1 block from the beach. You can walk to shops, restaurants and grocery stores within 20 -30 min. The suite is in a great neighborhood and felt very safe when out walking. We used Uber to get around. The suite is a bit old with an updated bathroom but overall a great place and i would definitely come back again. Pictures are accurate. Owners replied quickly with any questions. Thankyou for the great time we had.

We knew the place would be small but were shocked by how small it was.

There are mirrors everywhere to make the place look more spacious. They need to add one or two reading lights in the living room area. A few things were missing or broken and the owner was quick to respond and fix. We had tenants above who were very noisy early in the morning. The location is phenomenal, a very short walk to the beach. Parking on the street is easy.
