Our four generations enjoyed our stay. There was ample room to have privacy if we wanted to have time alone. We enjoyed the pool and it was nice to be able to have our dog with us.

The house was in a great neighborhood around milepost 6.5. Good location to the usual restaurants and stores we like to visit. Across the street from Target and the Movie Theater also. We walked to a pier on the sound side to watch the sun set a few times. We loved having our own private pool to relax in after spending the mornings at the beach. We will definitely stay here again in the future if it's available.

A Fantastic week!

We had a wonderful stay at On the Wings of Eagles! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, making it easy to settle in and relax. The location was absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Whether we were enjoying coffee on the deck or strolling along the shoreline, it truly felt like a retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at On Wings of Eagles in Kill Devil Hills! The house was beautiful, super clean, and well-equipped — everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly it was. Our three black labs were welcomed, and they had plenty of space to enjoy both inside and out.The private pool was a huge bonus and perfect for cooling off after beach days. The location was quiet and peaceful but still close to everything — shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach.The owner was incredibly helpful and kind, offering great suggestions for local places to eat and things to do. Their hospitality really made a difference and helped us feel right at home.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. On Wings of Eagles is a perfect spot for families — especially those traveling with dogs — and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Location was super convenient with the new Wawa and Target across the street for last minute/quick necessities! The pool was wonderful after a long day at the beach! Our family would stay again!

Best week ever!

We felt right at home here. The owners were very responsive, the kitchen was well stocked, and my dog and I LOVED the pool. I was pleasantly surprised to see a gate on the porch steps, which meant my pup could be out their leash-free. Thanks for a great week, Jim! We are looking forward to booking again.

Very nice spot near the sound!

We enjoyed our stay! Short walks to the sound for sunsets and close to restaurants. We would recommend for a family. Pets allowed was a big plus.

Great House!

It was perfect for our family of 5 (adult kids). Pool was awesome. Only thing that would make it better is a bathroom on lower level but still a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Christian, beach lover, IT guy turned beach home builder. I have always been inspired by Isaiah 40:31, which is where the house got its name. My hope is that people who come to visit will grow closer together and to God and soar on wings of eagles.

My family has been going to the outer banks for my entire life. There is no greater, more beautiful place on earth! Be sure to catch the great sunrises and sunsets over the water. The island is packed with history and there is lots to see and do.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

With tons of upgrades over the fall and winter this house is a 1/4 mile off of the bypass and it is very quiet back on Fourth st near the sound. The stars are great at night out on the front porch in the adirondack chairs, and the breeze on the screened in side porch is unmatched. Extra fridge/freezer in laundry room. Don't miss this one for some great R&R.
