We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Big Bear. This cabin was within walking distance of the lake and very close to food and shopping. The staff was amazing in communication and worked with us on our arrival.

The pictures are exactly what you get. It was clean, comfortable, pool, hot tub, and we enjoyed our time there. Careful if you are tall, bc the ceiling fan is dangerous.

This cabin should be torn down. It had years of dirt caked around all woodwork, spider webs inside, nasty pillows, sheets& comforter! Very large space between door and frame. It was worse than camping. The floor is not level, the shower was hideous, handle put on wrong and not level. And don’t get me started on the mattress. It’s way past its prime!

Liked the property and would rent it again. However, it needs a lot of TLC. Coffee brewer took almost an hour to brew a pot of coffee. We bought one at a Thrift saw and left it at the unit. Only one lamp on a night stand for the bed. Hard for two people to read at the same time. We bought a lamp at the Thrift store but did not leave it in the unit (liked it too much). Silverware, plates, cups etc need to improved. (no tea or soup spoons).

Review- great location

Great location, parking right next to your mini cabin. Place was a bit dirty, looked like someone came in and worked on the place and left mid job (screws left out, bits dry wall?, blue bucket filled with stuff). Not the most functional construction but for a short stay it was good. Clean bed, clean shower and was a safe place to stay.

July 2020 Big Bear

The location of the property near town and on the lake was perfect. All cabins had some lake view and you can walk to the lake. The inside of the cabin needed the floor leveled and paper towels. Also it could have been a little cleaner, especially the carpet with my dogs staying there. Overall I would rent again due to the lake location.

A day in Big Bear

We drove to Big Bear early Sunday morning and headed straight to ski on the mountain. We finished the day around 6pm and then took a quick ride to the main property office very closely located next to the base of Summit mountain. We had an easy check-in, and made another quick drive to the cottage, located right off the lake. It was clean and prepared. We stayed warm throughout the night. The company was very responsive during check-in and check-out. I would recommend staying here.

Cute cabin

Cabin was perfect. Small but w everything u need. They updated bathroom and kitchen. Very nice. Shower pressure amazing. Left supplies in bathroom. Bed was huge. The ceiling fan really helped w cooling room down. Tv was great for lying in bed and watching. Outdoor area was very Champine w lots of open space for doggies. Lake was right there. Ping pong pool playground.

103 Big Pine

Very hot inside in summer, no AC. Shower floor looked “sketchy”. Lights from outside shine through the windows right onto bed pillows. No fire pit. Make sure you bring everything you’ll need for cooking meals. This was not a bad experience just a learning one. Really close to the lake, walking distance. But not close to the village, unless you like to hike.

My time on Wednesday and Thursday at your cabin

unfortunately, we were not informed that our cabin doesn't have A/C and all windows are shut closed and we we not able to open the. it was unbearably hot at night and the place is dirty and run down and the picture we'd revived it was too different that what we experienced plus, TV was not working light outside, no working, bathroom has no valentines and be was very uncomfortable, etc..

Manager unable to undo and extension of extra day even though we didn’t go back to the cabin after checking out in the morning of check out. He charge the late check out fee, when we checked out on time.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I rented this cabin for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was beyond amazing. The check in process was super easy and Brian at the front desk was super helpful. The cabin was exactly how it looked when we booked online. When we got to our room we noticed the screen door didnt sit properly and we called Brian who offered to send someone out the next morning (we checked in at 1030pm). We loved everything about this cabin. Our only complaint would be the shower. There is no shelving or caddy inside the shower to place your shampoo and soap so they have to go on the shower floor and the shower door was a little difficult to open/close. Other than that we will definitely be returning and recommending to our family and friends.

Big Bear Holiday Getaway!

Loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Very cute and quaint. It has everything you need as far as cookware in the kitchen, utensils, plates, stove fridge and microwave. Heater worked great to keep us warm and just enough space for 2! The wifi was a bit slow so it didn't connect well to streaming services but it has cable so not a big deal. Plus we were really only there to snowboard and enjoy the snow for a couple of days. Loved how close it was to town and Big Bear Mountain. It's just a short walk to the beautiful lake that's very peaceful and the chairs on the front porch are perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a night time cup of hot coco. The shower is smaller one person only but it gets the job done and the water gets nice and hot! No complaints here. Great place in a wonderful location!

Fantastic - Highly Recommend

Highly, Highly Recommend! We stayed over the 4th of July (2021) weekend and the stay was so relaxing and the Fireworks show on the 4th was fantastic (Best spot on the lake). We stayed at Shore Acres #103 and loved it. From the time we arrived and checked in to the time we left, the staff at Big Bear Vacations as Top-Notch! When we arrived at the actual lodge at Shore Acres (Check-in is at a different location), we were greeted by Courtney who welcomed us and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. During our three days stay, she was always around to answer any questions and she was so friendly and outgoing, she just puts a smile on your face. Once your checked-in, you get a text message letting you know if you have any issues, the number to call for after hours emergency. Well, at 10:30pm our first night, the TV picture went off, but the sound was still playing. Not knowing if they would consider this an emergency, we called the number listed and within 15 minutes, we had a staff member (Chris) show up and determined the TV was bad. He went and got a brand-new TV and had it hooked up all within 30 minutes of our call. Chris was another team member that was super friendly, and we saw him throughout our stay, and he always said “Hi” and asked if we needed anything. Super High marks for both Courtney and Chris. We were hoping to meet Nick (the owner) to let him know how much we enjoyed our vacation at Shore Acres, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to meet him on this visit. We have already booked our stay for July 4th, 2022, and hopefully we’ll get the chance to meet him then and run back into both Chris and Courtney. As much as we enjoyed Big Pine #103, we decided to go next year with Lakeview #110 and have the best view possible. One last comment, when we got home and booked next year’s vacation for the 4th of July, our Reservation and group specialist was Stephanie R. and she was so friendly and such a delight to speak with. She even wished me a Happy Birthday in my email confirmation for next year. We really had a fantastic time and can’t wait for next year’s 4th of July. Thanks Big Bear Vacations! Awesome time and you have an awesome staff…
