Calme, toute nouvelle cuisine, salle de bain, et lit king size!

Propre, calme unité au deuxième étage avec une jolie vue sur le jardin et de l'ombre sur la véranda dans l'après-midi, donc pas trop chaud pour s'asseoir dehors! En face d'un or belle plage de sable (Charley Young Plage / Kamaole Beach 1). Récemment rénové (automne 2016), y compris un nouveau lit KING-SIZE en maître, nouvelle cuisine et salle de bain - attendez de les voir! Nouvelle TV à écran plat avec lecteur DVD, DVD et écran dans la chambre principale. Tribunaux spectaculaires de tennis, et un emplacement idéal pour le jogging et le vélo (pistes cyclables et des boutiques à travers Kihei). Nouveau (2016) canapé-lit avec matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme, également une nouvelle table à manger et des chaises confortables.
Belle chambre de maître calme, sans bruit de la circulation, juste le chant des oiseaux.
Incroyable de plain-pied en apnée près de cet endroit. Grande accès à des visites pour l'île de Molokai, et vous pouvez marcher à un dépanneur. Seulement 15 minutes en voiture de Makena Beach, célèbre dans le monde entier, ou prendre plus de temps et explorer le magnifique volcan derrière nous. Haleakala, la Maison du Soleil, regarde vers le bas sur le Maui Vista. Conduisez jusqu'au sommet ou prendre une excursion d'une journée à Hana de l'autre côté de Haleakala. Aussi une voiture facile à Lahaina, où vous pourrez prendre un ferry pour Lanai. Mais vous allez adorer traîner juste à Kihei - beaucoup moins de pluie que Kaanapali ou Napili! Et ce est l'endroit pour apprendre à surfer sur l'île de Maui - 1 bloc de surf central. Grands restaurants et magasins.

Great location, unit well appointed, clean, comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is so conveniently close to some fabulous beaches and walking distance to a number of great restaurants, shave ice, and shopping. Beach access is right across the street. The condo has pretty much everything you need and also includes beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, ice packs for the cooler, and boogie board.

You can’t beat Maui Vista for easy access to Kihei beaches, restaurants, etc. The unit itself is a bit run down and could use a good deep cleaning. Having grown up in Kihei, I know how that red dirt can coat things, but I found myself scrubbing grime build up off of door frames, light switches and walls. We wound up handwashing dishes because the dishwasher was so dingy and didn’t properly clean or dry. More available cleaning supplies might help guests keep the space cleaner while visiting. If you’re looking for a basic place to sleep in a prime location, this unit should do the trick.

Una.....thank you for the feedback. I appreciate the insight. I have been in touch with the property manager on Maui regarding the cleaning service and shared your comments with her. They have been asked to pay more attention to the service they provide and I am expecting improvement. When I am in residence, I am usually alone so I don't use the dishwasher. Based on your comments, I have gone ahead to have the dishwasher replaced with a new unit. The existing unit has been in place over 10 years and it is due for replacement, so your comments have initiated that process. Thank you, Stewart

We loved this place!! Great location. There were beach chairs and towels that we could use. Also loved the washer and dryer in the condo. It was very handy!!

The apartment was hot in the bedroom. The AC was in the family room which did nothing to the sleeping quarter. The bedroom window opened to the hallway, which did nothing to cool down the room.

Hi Tam....thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry that you had that experience with the temperature. Normally, we encourage guests to keep the bedroom door open, and the bedroom window open. That creates a nice airflow through the unit and together with the ceiling fan in the bedroom provides a pleasant sleeping environment. Regards, Stewart

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was very walkable to nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and it was a 5 minute walk to the beach where we could swim and saw sea turtles. The AC unit is in the living room, so you probably need to run it for awhile to reach the bedroom, but we were fine with it mostly off in mid-May. Parking was really easy and it was nice to have the in-unit laundry. The condo had a lot of beach towels and assorted beach gear available which was really nice. Our only complaint would be the cleanliness of the floors. They request that you don't wear shoes inside (which is reasonable), but our feet became blackened with dirt from walking around the apartment barefoot. Everything else seemed very clean, so this was a bit odd.

Hi Natalie....thank you for the feedback and I'm glad you had a great stay. I really appreciate the comment about the overall cleanliness of the unit - it's something I try to be very mindful of. We encourage use of natural breezes instead of A/C (Maui doesn't have a good electric grid) but open windows means more particulate matter from outside. I also ask the cleaners not to use as much detergent on the floors - it just leaves a film - and do a clean water rinse, but I'm not sure they always do that. I will speak with them again and ask that they do a deep clean on the floors with clean water. Hope to see you again soon. Stewart

Great place to stay in Maui

Overall a great place to stay in Maui, it’s in a good location to travel to all areas of Maui. Lots of places to shop and eat. There is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is nice and clean.

Me? I am a retired veterinarian. My wife and I bought the unit in 2009 because Maui was her favorite place on earth. We were able to enjoy time together at the Maui Vista, along with our family, before she passed away in 2019, I love my time there for the memories of her enjoyment being on Maui, and seeing that same happiness in our children and grandchildren as they experience it. If some of the joy of our family time togeher on Maui can be shared with guests, then nothing would make me happier - it is exactly what my wife would want.

Love Kihei! More sun than Kaanapali (or anywhere else on the island), great access to snorkeling, whale watching, dolphin watching and birding. Superb beach across the street, and only 15 minutes from THE beach (Makena). Over the years, there have been some very excellent restaurants relocated to our area of Kihei, including local favorites like the Paia Fish Market - you really have to try it!

We chose this location because of its access to the beach, nearby amenities (grocery store and restaurants), pool, and tennis. You can easily stay here without renting a car. Our unit is back from the street so very quiet and it faces northwest so it is delightfully cool and shady all day.....but with wonderful evening light from the setting sun.
