Just ok

I was a little nervous about the area we chose, but luckily this house was a 2 minute drive from a police station, so, that made me feel better. Communication with the host was speedy and that was nice. The house was fine. We stayed for 2 nights, but that was the max I would stay there. It wasn't very clean. There were dead bugs along the walls in the carpet, the carpet was sticky in the twin bedroom that I slept in and overall it just needed a good deep clean. The sliding glass door to the back yard didn't lock all the way, so that made me a little nervous at night. The beds were fairly comfortable, though.

This property was so awful we did not even stay. We arrived and left within a couple hours. This listing was not accurate by any means and when I contacted the property host she lied about the listing details and tried to blame VRBO for changing her details. This is NOT a safe property and should NOT even be listed for anyone to stay. There were multiple fire hazards as a smoke detector hanging down and tape on the refrigerator plug. The safety on this neighborhood is also a joke!! We felt unsafe from the moment we arrived. We contacted the host multiple times as well as did VRBO and she refused a refund. Do NOT stay here

Hello and thank you for your feedback. You all literally came in, google stats on the neighborhood, and left. There was nothing wrong with the property and we never heard anything but good feedback on the neighborhood which you all would have experienced. Very diverse, child friendly, and family oriented neighborhood that is on the same block as the police station. Thank you

This property was a major disappointment. The cleanliness alone was unacceptable. Every floor was sticky, including the worn shag carpet, the walls were visibly dirty, and the upstairs shower had hair stuck to the walls, mold in the grout, and appeared not to have been cleaned in quite some time. The numerous Febreze plug-ins felt like an attempt to mask odors rather than address the underlying issues.The kitchen raised additional concerns. The stovetop was visibly charred and partially melted, there was a dirty pan left in the oven, and the utensil drawer contained only one fork, so we chose not to cook.The home showed significant deferred maintenance. Nearly every door was damaged and squeaked loudly, one bedroom door was barely held together, and the upstairs bed frame was so noisy that rolling over would wake everyone. During a brief rainstorm, overflowing gutters poured water onto the patio, water pooled in the sliding door track where mold appeared to be growing, standing water remained in the backyard for days, and the utility room began taking on water beneath the HVAC unit.The neighborhood was also noisy, with yelling, people running through the streets late at night, and speeding vehicles. Overall, I cannot recommend this property due to the cleanliness, maintenance, water intrusion, and safety concerns. This listing was not represented well at all by the pictures. This listing should seriously be taken under consideration to be removed from VRBO.
