We had a great time spending Christmas here as a central location for our family. The beds were comfortable and enough room to accommodate our family. The hot water and water pressure was great! However, the basement was cold even with the heat on. There was not enough furniture for all of our family to sit in one room together (8 adults/1 child). Also the couch in the basement and the couch and chairs in the living area are very cheaply made and not very comfortable. Games that were provided were missing pieces and batteries. In the kitchen, there was only one kitchen towel and only two trash bags available for the kitchen trash. The parking was limited and there was a lot of traffic noise, which couldn’t be helped with the location. The TVs in the living room and basement were large and worked well. The backyard was a nice area for the dogs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were happy to be able to be together in one place.

Another great stay at a great location. The place was exactly as expected—comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly situated. We especially appreciated the very prompt snow removal, which made coming and going easy after a storm. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very functional

Comfortable property. Beds were comfortable and showers were great. House was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Accommodations

Having recently moved from the area, we needed a local place to stay with our grown children and their families to celebrate Christmas at my family’s local home. This Marvel home served our purpose well. Every room was clean and ready for us. The kitchen was well accommodated for cooking breakfasts as we needed. Upon arrival I had trouble with the door opening app but the host had this resolved within minutes. I would stay here again.

Mokena

Located in a nice and quiet area. Two stories, very spacious. They had it stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, spices, etc. They made it very easy to enjoy vacation. Highly recommend. Hosts are great too. Very responsive.

Would stay again

Great spot, good location, very clean. Had small issue with electronic lock when checking in, but host helped us out immediately. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place, easy central location

Blaine was very accommodating letting us extend our stay by coming a day early to beat a winter storm. Even had staff come and shovel mid storm and salt the driveway which was appreciatd. Once we checked in communication was lacking as the air hockey table had no cord so could not be used at all during our stay which was disappointing and the motion light kept us up all night in the downstairs bedroom. We reached out several times but never got a response. Listing was new to VRBO so I think they were still working things out but the towel racks and toilet paper holders were all barely in the walls and if bumped would fall off the wall. That aside the rental was worth the price for the area and good for short stays. Check in was super easy and house was very clean. Kids loved playing in the snow in the backyard. It is on a busier intersection so the backyard was nice to have.
