Mansfield Manor, the perfect place to relax & enjoy Vermont to the fullest. New!

Mansfield Manor is located within the heart of Chittenden County, close to many amenities including Lake Champlain, Stowe Mtn Resort and Smugglers Notch. Your home away from home, situated in a rural setting within 5 minutes of the Essex Experience and 30 minutes to Church St Marketplace in Downtown Burlington.

Enjoy Vermont breweries, local restaurants, and genuine Vermont Maple products, or play a round of golf at the 18-hole golf course located next door to the property.

Please note the nightly rate is set off a 4-person per night stay, there is a $25 fee per extra guest, per stay. There are 2 active cameras outside the house for property & guest safety. The cameras view the front door (interactive doorbell) & driveway.

We have a strict no-pet policy. Please do not bring any animals onto the premises. If guests are found to have brought pets in violation of this policy, a $150 pet cleaning fee will be charged, and your booking may be cancelled.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mansfield Manor! The house is very clean and comfy. The view of the mountain from the back deck is amazing. Check in and check out was easy. The neighborhood is VERY quiet! We will definitely be back! If you’re looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend!

We were thoroughly pleased with the Mansfield Manor and the quick and helpful communication with Matthew & Tracey! Mansfield Manor had all the comforts of home - and is kept in first class condition. Location was great for us. We were so grateful to be able to "hang out" together as a family in such a comfortable and classy setting.

Family Wedding weekend

The house and its location were perfect. We had plenty of space for two families of four without feeling cramped in any way. Matthew was very accommodating and communication was very prompt to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great place to stay

We used this as overflow for a small wedding and could not have been happier. The house was a perfect size and well equipped with everything we needed to cook and clean up. I would highly recommend.

It was fairly clean. I found an empty apple sauce pouch behind small fridge in living room. There were so so many ladybugs inside the house. A proper toaster and a drip coffee pot would have been nice to have. Also TV in guest bedrooms. Suggest to upgrade toilet paper. Also, extra garbage bags, paper towels, & use of closet in master bedroom.

We decided to head north instead of south for our family vacation this summer and it was a great decision! The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. The kitchen has more than you will need to prepare any meal. I reached out to Matt, the owner, numerous times with many questions since we had never visited Vermont before and he promptly responded to all of my questions and gave us a wonderful list of activities and places in advance that we could look into before arriving. We felt right at home the minute we walked into his house. My husband already said we will be going back to see them many things we didn’t have time to see this visit.

Amazing retreat!

Matthew’s property has everything you could need for an enjoyable weekend getaway in Vermont. We skied at nearby Bolton Valley during the day and enjoyed the spacious living room for cozy evenings! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful home and relaxing home

This family of 4 was delighted by the property. Lots of room for us all to spread out, comfortable beds, plenty of space to lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Beautiful outdoor property, with a pool that helped us escape the heat of the day a total bonus. Excellent communication throughout our stay, and the property is exactly as mentioned in the listing. It was a joy to stay here and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the area. Thanks for providing such a clean and welcoming home!

More than 5 stars needed!

The pictures don’t do it justice. This place is TOP TIER. Located on a beautiful, quiet country (paved) road, easily accessible to nearby shopping. They have everything you need. Lovely accommodations, clean rooms, clean linens, wonderful open living area. We stayed with my in-laws and toddler here and everyone was comfortable. Can not recommend this place and the host enough. Lightning fast response times for any questions, they were wonderful to deal with and have the house prepared with little things you forget, like cinnamon and nutmeg for French toast 😍 15/10. Wish there were more stars to give!

Fourth of July getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Mansfield Manor. The pictures were perfect examples of the home. Kitchen was nicely stocked with so many staples as well as lots of extras you don’t normally find in a vacation rental. Bathrooms had plenty of clean towels and even had beach towels to use. What a nice little welcome basket we saw when we arrived, such a nice touch. Pool was great. Matt was so easy to reach and responded very quickly to our questions. The only wish I had for the house was an outdoor grill and fire pit. My fault for assuming there was one and brought some meals for outdoor cooking. A couple tweaks to our plans and all was well. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone and if we make our way back up north again, would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Matt and Tracey’s place.The inside was lovely- having plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out. It was clean and comfy and even had very well placed outlets. :) We live in a city apartment and the luxury of multiple bathrooms was not lost on us either. We cooked a lot during our stay and the kitchen had everything that we needed. We also appreciated the books and games the house had - especially the classic vintage Disney books which my kids loved and made my Millennial heart swell. There are some areas of the house (garage, basement) that are not for guest use and locked. The views OUTSIDE were INCREDIBLE. Of note- the trampoline in one of the pictures was not there when we visited, which was disappointing to my 7 year old. The outdoor entertainment basically consisted of the pool. It was a huge reason why we booked Matt’s place and we swam almost every day that we were there. The water even in mid August was pretty chilly though. I recommend buying some pool floats that have your body mostly out of the water and swimming late morning to mid day when the sun is right over the pool. Still- floating in the pool will definitely be the core memory I have from our trip. Also- The ladder to the pool also has a locking mechanism that keeps kiddos from climbing which gave us peace of mind. There is shopping and dining within 5 min! Matt was incredibly prompt and thoughtful in his responses when we messaged him! Thank you!!!

It was a good property

The property was comfortable. It had lot of dead flies ands no Vaccume or dustpan. The owner said he would come by and vacuum but when he was there he sent me an email to let me know he was putting trash cans to the road and he could clean them all out. I didn’t read my email intil the next day but he stopped replying to my messages after that. The downstairs toilet had not been cleaned in a while. Trampoline made it he beautiful back yard look junky with the tall grass and chairs in tall grass under it. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding felt fresh. The kitchen was clean and they left a goody basket. I would stay there again if they would take care of the dead fly situation.
