We were so pleased with this property. It was so clean and roomy. It had all the amenities we needed. Every time I reached out to Melissa, she responded promptly. I would definitely recommend this home.

House was true to the listing. We were a little anxious upon arrival as the house is close to the highway but there was very little road noise when we were buttoned up in the house. You can easily walk into Old Town New Albany to visit shops, restaurants, and bars. The owner was helpful and responsive.

Excellent spot, would return in the future. Melissa is a good communicator and great host. My only suggestion is to have a couple more surge protectors around for laptops, consoles, and chargers. Sometimes we forget our own… 5-star stay!

Great house for us and our adult kids. We walked along the river, and they went downtown to enjoy the night life. The VRBO is comfortable, well laid out for privacy, and convenient for visiting family.

We appreciate your hospitality in allowing us to stay at your home. Melissa provided snacks for everyone, and it appeared that everyone enjoyed them.. The house was perfect for us.

This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house was perfect for our multi-generational family over the holidays. We loved the close proximity to the restaurants and coffee shops downtown. Our host even had the house decorated with a lovely Christmas tree! We look forward to staying there next time we come to the area.

My family had a great Thanksgiving stay in New Albany. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for 5 adults. The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants in downtown New Albany and easy access to the interstate to get to downtown Louisville. Melissa was very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again if in the area.

LUXURY description is very MISLEADING! Inside décor was lovely & comfortable. Dining room table replaced by foosball table. Sleeps 8 but only space & chairs for 4 to dine. Given Incomplete directions for entering the property. Took at least 30 minutes to access house when we arrived. After driving long distances, this was extremely stressful. Locks functioned intermittently. Wi-fi password was incorrect on 1 of the provided pieces of info.Directions for cleaning crew state: WASH BLANKETS AFTER EVERY 3RD LONG STAY. Kitchen very sparsely supplied-no toaster, few cooking utensils, no salt, broken ice maker, & rust in bottom of baking pans. Dried used grounds in coffee maker. Some snacks provided were expired 5 months ago.Since it is across from a major highway it’s VERY LOUD. Owner said she furnished box fans to drown out the noise. Your choice-kind of quiet but cold/comfortable but loud!House next door was boarded up.Bathrooms: pretty but had a loose electrical socket in 1, cracked/chipped ceramic drinking glass, & stained towels. Towels were very thin and mismatched – not luxury!Grab bars by the bathtub would make entering & exiting easier & safe. Fenced in area was overgrown with weeds. Pics of fenced in area online are old.Owner gave lame excuses for issues & never apologized for anything. The only time “sorry” entered the conversations was when I requested a partial refund for all of the issues we had. Her reply was; sorry that won't be happening.

We absolutely loved our stay! The host was great about responding when needed. The place was so cozy, clean and cute! The only downfall is the parking, not much room for parking if you have more than 2 vehicles. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved the inside of the house. Very clean and well kept. The only issue we had was the traffic noise as the house it right next to the highway. Recommend having box fans in each room to help block out the traffic noise. Other than that perfect house.

I wish you would have reached out about the need for box fans, there should have been some in the bedroom closets. I am one of those people, even if there isn't and outside noise, appreciate the humming of a box fan. Thanks again for staying at my place!

Great place to stay! Perfect for what we needed our parents stayed with us and the walk in shower was perfect for them and number of bathrooms were great. All beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. I think battery on back door lock was old as we did have trouble with that lock. We also had to ask for code but host responded quickly! Front room does have a lot of noise from close road but having a fan in room helped a lot! Each room had one. Close to a lot of great things. We would for sure stay again!

Let me talk y'all, this house was great. It was clean, and enough space for 8 people even though it was just the Wife and I that stayed here. There was on street parking in the front and a parking spot in the back. Stores, Restaurants and shops not to far from here. Louisville is just across the bridge. Melissa, the host was FANTABULOUS.. Communication was easy and she always responded to a question in a timely manner. We definitely will out this house in rotation when we come down from Pennsylvania. Thank you Melissa for sharing your house with us, we greatly appreciate your hospitality..
