Appreciated the Flexibility
The host was kind and went out of her way to offer a backup space when the original unit we booked had already been reserved - the calendar hadn’t updated in time on VRBO, so we were grateful she still found a place for my co-workers to stay during their internship. Rather than the room we booked, they were able to stay in the basement apartment. She didn't have to do this, and it was very kind of her. The location was also a major plus, with easy access to public transit. That said, there were a few challenges. The apartment wasn’t clean upon arrival, and as this was Liza’s first time listing on VRBO, there were some bumps in the payment process. Certain requests were made which felt confusing given VRBO’s policies. While we appreciated her flexibility and effort, the overall experience felt a bit unstructured. With some more experience using the platform, I think future guests will have a smoother stay. This review is based on my experience booking the stay as well as the rep who stayed in the actual listing. Please note that every experience is different and we greatly appreciated the hosts kindness.
