Bring towels. Do not expect a long hot shower, the water gets cold fast. Otherwise a nice place.

I extended my stay, and still using the apartment. But it's worth an interim rating. The home is very comfortable, I'm here for work and it is a great place to rest up for the next day.

Mid July stay

This site worked great for us on short notice. It was conveniently located near the Fort and the major shopping areas allowing us to take care of our business. Clean, friendly service, and easy access. We would stay again.

Great location!

Old building in need of repairs. Good location. Need more towel racks. Coffee reservoir cracked. Bathroom light needs new bulb. Very nice beds. Nice touches in decor. Nice reading lamps.

Convenient Location

This apartment is conveniently located near many stores and highways, while the road noise is minimal. There is plenty of space as well. The downside was the lack of cleanliness. it was quickly evident the floors and countertops had not been cleaned.

Cozy 2-bedroom apartment

We spent 10 days here and really enjoyed our stay. It is walking distance to downtown restaurants, parks and grocery stores. Very clean and comfortable.

Visiting our Airman

We had a splendid opportunity to visit our Airman while in Alaska. Our VRBO was the perfect location as we were close to the everything we needed to do. Monique was a great host and helped us with a list of very nice restaurants and activities to do during our stay.

Less than expected

This was definitely less than I expected. The host was very good about communicating, but I think that our expectations are different. I did not feel comfortable in the neighborhood, and you can hear everything in the unit below. This appears to be a fairly new listing and definitely some updates being made, but still has some work to be done. We left early because we wanted sleep and weren’t comfortable in the neighborhood, but would consider a different property with this host.

Great location and furnishings

This place had everything that we needed. It had comfortable beds, a nice kitchen for preparing our own meals, and close proximity to downtown Fairbanks -- all at a fair price. The only glitch was in the initial booking with VRBO. Shortly after successfully booking it, the manager contacted us to say that an error had been made, leading it to be double-booked. We were forced to cancel our reservation. This was especially frustrating to us because this was the second time this happened in our attempt to find lodging for this trip. As we were starting our third attempt at finding lodging in Fairbanks, we received a phone call from the manager of this property telling us that she had shifted the earlier booking of this unit to another unit and that this unit was now available again for the dates we needed. We were, of course, very grateful and immediately completed another reservation for this unit. We remain thankful that we were able to stay in this unit and would recommend it to future travelers to the area.

Internet excellent, great TV, new washer and dryer, convenient location, and all needed kitchen ware present. Only work arounds were the hot water availability required showers in shifts; not surprising since there were three of us.

Quick Stay In Fairbanks

The building is older but you can tell it is being fixed up. Everything was provided that we needed. Monique was very helpful and accommodating. She even offered places to try to see the Northern Lights. Which we did!
