Escape to our charming and spacious home in Baldwin City, perfect for families or groups! Maple Leaf Cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 with 3 bedrooms plus a Murphy bed in the basement. Features two living areas, a modern kitchen, and a yard.

Ideally located near Baker University, this cozy retreat is your perfect base for exploring the town's vibrant festivals and beautiful scenery. A warm, inviting space awaits you.

With four distinct sleeping areas and three full bathrooms spread across three floors, the home provides ample space for large groups to stay together comfortably.

The main living room features a sofa, loveseat and large TV, creating a bright and cheerful space to gather. A second basement living area offers additional space to hang out, watch TV, or sleep some extra family or friends. The well-equipped, modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, which you can enjoy together in the adjacent dining area.

The home's layout provides ample space for your group:

Main Level: Features one bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Upstairs: You'll find two additional bedrooms. One offers a queen-size bed, while the other has two twin beds. These rooms share a bathroom with a bathtub (please note, it does not have a shower head).

Basement: A versatile lower level includes another living space with a full-size Murphy bed, a full bathroom, and a utility area with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

We are pet-friendly! Please be sure to let us know about your furry family members at the time of your reservation.

If you're traveling with small children, we have a pack & play, booster seat and stair safety gates available.

Five members of our family stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. The house was absolutely wonderful. The house was very clean, updated, modern and uncluttered. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great location. The host was super nice!

There was no designated parking. Zero access to the backyard. House had musty smell.

We do have several designated parking spots, two in a gravel area along the front next to the road (off street), another parking pad on the right side of the front, and parking behind the house accessible through the alley next to the house. There is not a concrete driveway, but there is plenty of designated parking. Pictures are provided in the listing. While there is not a door directly into the fenced portion of the yard, it is accessible through both the basement door and kitchen door (down a set of stairs from the porch). Most guests choose to take their dogs out the front door to use the front yard, but the back is certainly accessible. We were not notified of a musty smell until after they had checked out, mentioning it had occurred the night before. When I arrived the check it out, I did not notice a musty smell. It’s possible it was a passing smell from something outside that made its way in.

The house was clean and fresh looking. Rooms were neat and beds were very comfortable. Dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator, and stove -- all in good condition. Bathrooms were clean and towels were provided. Warm welcome sign, and the guest WiFi proved to be easy to access.

Adorable house in Baldwin City!Excellent communication, instructions, and quick response from the Host. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom(s) - from dishes to necessities. Great outdoor lighting on front and back porch for safety. Close to bakery, groceries, activities in the area. I would definitely stay here again:)

Our family has lived in the area for over 20 years. We keep busy with kids activities, and have enjoyed the opportunity to travel and stay in other short term rentals. It was those experiences that encouraged us to set up our own rental in Baldwin City.

Baldwin City is a great small town, with a quaint downtown area with restaurants and shopping. You'll often see families walking in the evenings, and kids on bikes throughout the warmer months.
The home is located just a few blocks east of Baker University, a couple of blocks south of US-56.

Our home offers lots of space for your family and friends to gather! There is a large living room with two sitting areas, and another living space in the basement. We also have several board games and books available for your use.

Three bedrooms sleep 6 comfortably, but we also have a full-size murphy bed, a small futon, an elevated air mattress, and 2 couches if you want to maximize the space for a group.
