Welcome to this rare waterfront private estate! Nestled on an acre+ lot within the City of Fredericton surrounded by a canopy of mature trees, this property features beautiful views of the Saint John River with 200ft of waterfront. This sprawling Cape Cod custom built home has amazing patio spaces on two levels for both larger gatherings or a quiet escape â all with awe-inspiring views of the river!
Whether you are staying with us for a family getaway, long overdue friendâs catch-up, business retreat or conference you will be very comfortable in this home away from home.
The Fredericton trail system runs through the rear of the property and has more than 120 km of non-motorized, multi-use trails. These trails are open year-round.
The home also allows convenient main level living - with a primary suite (featuring king bed, jetted tub and walk-out balcony), an additional bedroom (queen bed and crib if you need, it may be used as a nursery), additional full bathroom and a powder room area, a spacious laundry room and an incredible sunroom. Experience the open concept living and eat-in kitchen area â which is modern and fully equipped for the chef in the family, or better yet, hire an in-house chef to cook for you. A kitchenette is also located on the lower floor. BBQ available on each level to cook up a lovely meal made from local ingredients gathered at one of the areaâs local markets including the historic Boyce Farmers market. Propane heaters on the large decks to enjoy the outdoors spaces in the shoulder seasons.
Upstairs is an escape, with sprawling loft style second primary bedroom (queen bed) and its own ensuite bathroom with soaker tub.
The lower floor is an additional family retreat and may be utilized as a self-contained area. In addition to a kitchenette, the lower floor has a full walkout, a TV viewing den area, two bedrooms (one with a queen, the other with a king bed) and a pullout with a comfortable queen mattress.
The house also has a compact gym with weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, bosu and stability balls, and yoga mats, that is accessible from the outside.
There is nothing like experiencing a sunrise to sunset while overlooking this sprawling river, whether from the house, a patio or off the dock (June-October). Look no further and book this unique property in Fredericton!
A scenic bike ride, quick drive or taxi ride will have you in Downtown Fredericton to enjoy a host of events, restaurants, galleries, shops and museums. If you are a fan of craft beer, cider and spirits, the Fredericton Capital Region ranks amongst the most taprooms per capita in Canada. Most everything you need can be accessed within a short drive, including the airport, uptown shopping, the Fredericton Convention Centre, Legislature, Government offices, University of New Brunswick, St. Thomas University, New Brunswick Community College, New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.
We are a child friendly home with a dedicated room for a nursery if you are travelling with a baby.
Important Booking Notes:
- The home is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is suitable for families or quiet retreats only.
- Parties and events of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Although the gym is a part of and connected to the house, the access is from the outside.
- The dock is generally in place June 1 â September 30. Please confirm at the time of booking if you intend to use the dock. We have been able to use a small motor boat, kayaks and canoes off the dock in the summer.
- Because this is our home there are inconspicuous locked storage closets and the detached garage that are not accessible to our guests. Guests are welcome to use the garage attached to the house.
- The property security system has external security cameras.
- We reserve the right to require valid government-issued photo identification.
