Our cozy and charming condo located in Blowing Rock, NC offers a perfect retreat in the heart of downtown. Just two blocks from Main Street, you can park your car and walk to any of the local attractions including restaurants, shops, and a fabulous park for kids. Stroll around the beautiful Mayview Lake and stop at the Broyhill Gazebo. The condo is a 1.5 mile from the Blue Ridge parkway with easy access to Moses Cone and its many walking trails including Bass Lake and Julian Price Park.

We had a wonderful stay here! It had everything a family of four needed for a week long vacation. Everything was very clean and well put together. The location is the best part. It is in walking distance to downtown and so many amazing restaurants. We were thankful for the real fireplace and heaters throughout the condo, because it was snowing when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The condo was very clean & lovely, beautifully decorated! The space was very comfortable for 2 couples. The distance to Main Street was more mor than a few steps, it was actually 1/4 mile all uphill, we managed though.

Enjoyed our stay so very close to Main St dtown & our favorite restaurants & shops. The unit was very well stocked, clean & comfortable. One minor question about the pilot light in the FP was immediately answered. I would definitely chose The Rock again!!

Cleanest rental I've ever stayed! This was our first time staying overnight in Blowing Rock so we took a chance on a location. Only a short walk from Main Street and you'll pass multiple restaurants and shops on your way. You won't need to drive again until check-out. The rental is nicely decorated, beds were very comfortable, and the rental comes with plenty of amenities to get you through three days for a family of three. We're so glad we stumbled upon this rental and look forward to our next visit.

Comfy Condo

Nice, tidy and close to downtown Blowing Rock. Bedrooms do not have central Air Conditioning so pretty stuffy at night. There is baseboard heating so prob great in the Fall and Winter. Walkable to restaurants. Easy parking.

Everything was clean! Close to Main Street. We really only were there to sleep but overall the area was pretty quiet. If arriving at night for check-in, it can be hard to find the right building as the building numbers are somewhat hidden/ hard to see without getting out of your car but we figured it out! We really just wanted to be close to town and that’s what we got! The bedrooms don’t have AC but with the cold mountain air you definitely don’t need it (we went in October). Would definitely stay again!

Family Gathering

My daughter flew in from Montana and I wanted her to see the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. The Rock offered the perfect place to stay for our getaway. The condo was spacious, very clean and provided everything we needed. We especially loved the cozy mountain decor. The proximity to Main Street was ideal. I look forward to going back again.

The place was great, I think the only concern was the bathroom that had the 2 beds, it would appear that the shower head might need replacing. Other than that everything else was great, location, and fireplace timer.
