Cabin was great. Our weekend get away with our graduating son and a few friends went great. Perfect location, right between blowing rock and boone. So much to do at the cabin and around the area.

We had a group of ladies at the cabin. Tony was extremely communicative and helpful about making sure we had what we needed and provided a lot of ideas about things to do in the area, restaurants etc. The cabin was in excellent condition and well equipped for what we needed. This cabin is the perfect location. Remote enough that is quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to downtown Blowing Rock. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Host was very helpful, responsive, and kind!

Great Location for a Mountain Escape

Our family had a wonderful two-week getaway at this cabin. We were just a couple minutes drive away from both Boone and Blowing Rock, so we were able to see many sights around the area.

We had the best trip! The BR cabin location is perfect! Close to downtown Blowing Rock, Tweetsie, grocery store but still in the mountains. Beautiful porch and yard to play, lots of deer sightings which excited our kids. This is our third year in a row at the Blowing Rock Cabin. The amenities, location and price can't be beat. It's a spacious property while still retaining its coziness. We recommend the cabin very highly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location provided us with easy access to the shops in Blowing Rock and close to Appalachian State for Graduation and Commissioning Ceremonies. The Cabin was over the top in providing us with everything we needed. We are planning our next visit as we speak.

Fabulous location!!

This cabin is in a fabulous location - less than 10 min to Blowing Rock or Appalachian Ski Mountain, and only a little further to Boone. We were able to enjoy our vacation without spending the whole time driving (as we’ve done during prior vacations to the greater Boone area). The cabin is nice and well-stocked, and the owner is kind and very communicative!

Mountain Getaway

This property met all our needs for a short family get away. Tony was very attentive and offered many suggestions for things to do. While the weather did not allow us to fully take advantage of the lovely outside, there was lots to do inside the cozy cabin.

We are an active family with two pre-teen girls that loves the outdoors. We love getting out to hike, and kayak, finding waterfalls and swimming holes and having lunch at one of the amazing overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We've been coming to the Blowing Rock area for about 15 years and finally found a place that we can call home. We know that you'll love the area just as much as we do and hope you come back again and again to discover new things to see and do around this incredible area.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The Location is Amazing. Set back in a quiet area but just five minutes away from restaurants, breweries, shopping, hiking and waterfalls. Or just sit on the front porch swing and look out at the Mountain View with a cup of coffee. At night choose from a wood fire pit in the yard, or relax on our back deck next to the gas fire under the string lights with a glass of wine. So close to everything but yet a world away!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of the best things about the cabin is the large walk out basement that we turned into a game room / kids paradise. Large 65" TV for watching movies, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, board games, and a bunk bed room. Kids love the privacy and fun, while parents love having a quiet adult space on the main level. Everyone is happy!
