Our restored, 850 sf cottage blend naturally into the woods setting. Private and secluded but just 2 blocks to downtown Blowing Rock. This separate cottage sits directly behind our main house at The Victorian Inn.

Great location. 1 street away from everything so we walked everywhere. The cottage was spacious, cozy, and clean. We would recommend this stay to anyone that needs a quiet weekend away with convenience to everything there is to do in Blowing Rock.

We've come to Blowing Rock many times and this is our favorite place we've stayed. The cottage has plenty of space, but it's still walkable to everything in town. The host was very friendly and communicative. Definitely would recommend!

Mountain Get Away

We booked the Cottage to attend a Wedding at Chetola, arriving a day early to experience an overdue date night. It was an easy walk to Main Street and Bistro Roca, where we had dinner. The Cottage was tidy and cozy although we had trouble finding the thermometer the first night, but host answer the call on the first ring. We slept well and woke up to a quaint breakfast dinner across the street both mornings. We will definitely consider staying at The Cottage again.

Perfect

2 friends getting together for quick getaway. The cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath which is perfect for privacy. It was clean and quaint. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted. We were iced in for a day and half and hiked and explored the other day and half. I never felt like we were restless. It was a true R and R trip.The staff especially the manager Karen was always available and so friendly. Her recommendation of the Mint Indian Cuisine in Boone was spot on. Only 6 miles away and the best Indian Food I have ever had.

Great ski weekend

We had a great weekend complete with some snow! The cabin was just as described and very cozy! The property manager was very kind and even offered us an early check in! It was perfect for our family! We would definitely stay again!

We had a beautiful stay at the cabin! It was very clean and well-appointed with comfortable beds and everything we needed for a cozy stay so convenient to downtown Blowing Rock.

Great location!

The cottage is very nice and welcoming. It has plenty of light. Although the bathroom is small it has everything you need. The bedrooms are very pleasant, with comfortable mattresses, adequate lighting, and plenty of storage space. The kitchen is well-equipped to cook light meals. The living area has a buttery leather couch which is comfortable but we would have liked to have more comfortable armchairs, especially since we spent much time inside the cottage due to the rainy weather. We had a problem with opening the entrance door the first evening. We got in touch with the evening manager Karen who helped us find another way of getting in, came first thing in the morning, and sent someone to fix the problem. No problem after that. On sight, parking was appreciated. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short by one day because Hurricane Helene was approaching. We would not hesitate to rent the cottage again.

Perfect location!

My husband and I visited Blowing Rock as a potential retirement location and had such a wonderful time. The accommodations are perfect including the cleanliness, amenities and location (within walking distance of the quaint downtown). We will definitely stay here again!

Blowing Rock Visit

Nice facility. It was as advertised. We were in walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock. The only issue I had was communicating with VRBO before our stay. The combination of text, email and app for the computer made the process confusing.
