This place is amazing! A real cave house with all the comforts of a modern apartment right in the thick of things in Santorini. Why would you stay anywhere else? The rental is expensive but worth the investment. Go for it!

Perfect location to soak up Oia, right on the steps down to Ammoudi Bay. Very welcoming and kind staff and plenty of snacks and wine for our stay. Thank you!

Stunning location, fabulous hospitality

The location was excellent and perfect to get around Oia as well as take in the beauty of the town and sunsets. We were looked after and pampered during our stay - wonderful experience, wish we had stayed longer.

Great Vacation Spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Oia! Clean, comfortable, and a perfect location to enjoy the sunsets! So much appreciation gor Maria, our Host and John, our Porter! We did have a car rental close to a parking lot which made it easier to explore the entire island! Highly recommend!

Best location to be in Oia!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Helios. The location is definitely one of the best in Oia...you will get an amazing view of the sunset from the terrace. We enjoyed a nice dinner on this terrace and were surprised with some nice deserts from the owner.

Helios stay

The Helios was amazing! Maria and John are so incredibly nice and accommodating and made our stay so much better. The apt is in a great location with a perfect view of the sunset. 10/10 stay

Nice property great service had a power outage and a wireless outage during the stay ( different days) but overall enjoyed the location and the amenities.

Paradise

We stayed in the perfect location for the beautiful sunsets, and getting around the town of Oia! The Helico cave house was perfect and a very popular location for picture taking. Be prepared.

Wonderful!!

The Villa is wonderful! The location is perfect for sitting on the terrace to watch the ocean or walking to nearby restaurants. Maria is the perfect host. Guannis and Malina work so very hard to make the stay a pleasant holiday. The combination of accommodations and service from the three of them cannot be beat.

Amazing trip to Greece

Our time in Santorini was wonderful. Maria and her team were very accommodating and made the transfer from one place to the other so easy as they took care of all arrangements to move our luggage. Both places were very clean well equipped and comfortable . The Views from the cave homes were absolutely breathtaking and Unforgettable.

An unforgettable stay in the heart of Oia

Perfect location in Oia! Maria was very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our trip and during our stay, even offering suggestions for places to eat and activities to do during our time there. Mustafa was incredibly helpful, gracious and attentive. The property was well appointed and the views were spectacular! We loved our time at Helios...such a unique property within a few steps to all that Oia has to offer.

Helios

Maria and staff were very helpful during our stay offering snacks and wine throughout our stay and helping with things to do in Oia. Helios was a beautiful property with an amazing sunset view. It can be noisy at times as the front door is a wonderful photo op place for many. Definitely recommend this property.

Charming House, Amazing location, and lovely owner

Thanks Maria for making this trip unforgettable for us. Everything was perfect. Thanks also for Sunil for his great support. One thing could be improved though which is the breakfast, to have more variety. Apart from that, it was all perfect.

Ah-mazing!

Our stay in the Helios Cave House was absolutely incredible! It was everything we ever dreamed of for our trip to Oia. The location was absolutely perfect and the view was UNREAL. Maria and her staff were so kind, patient and accommodating. We are so thankful to have met them and to have stayed in such a clean and well kept little place in the heart of Oia. We will be recommending this place to all our family and friends and highly encourage you to stay here! You will have no regrets- best little spot in Oia!

Spectacular Santorini

Everything was amazing ! Maria’s communication on all aspects of the Cave House was exceptional! If we needed anything, Maria was quick to respond and organise our request. The porters who lugged our luggage up and down the winding steps, through the crowded streets were efficient and friendly. Our stunning Cave House was the most delightful experience, in an incredible location. The fridge was stocked full of cold water, wine and treats. Thank you for a truly wonderful time! My family and I will always hold the most special memories of our unique Cave House experience in Santorini.

Amazing!

This is an amazing property with sunset views! Maria accommodated us within hours after we found out another property (not hers) had double booked us and made sure we were well cared for. Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Sunil was always available, had great restaurant recommendations, and brought breakfast daily. Highlights were the hike to Fira, catamaran to the volcano, the amazing food, Atlantis bookstore, wandering the streets in the quieter evenings, and toasting the sunset every night from our amazing private terrace! Thank you, Maria!!

Lovely cave house

We had a wonderful time staying at our cave house. Maria provides plenty of drinks and snacks for your entire stay. Communication was excellent. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is the most popular area in Santorini so there are always people outside the door taking pics of the view and that may be a negative to some. That being said, it’s lovely to have your own rooftop to yourself to watch the sunset while everyone above and below are scrambling to get pics.

Cute

The place was really cute. It was very well stocked. Unfortunately, the listing is a little misleading thought that it included breakfast on the terrace and wine in the evening. There was an outside area directly and steps that goes up to a private terrace. We thought that this is where the breakfast would be served and wine in the evening, that it is served with a hike away very steep steps and crowds of people so we were not able to enjoy this perk with this place.

Dear Venus, Thank you for having the courtesy to mention that our HELIOS cave house is really cute and very well stocked! It is true that you stayed in one of the most popular houses in Oia and I am really sorry you missed its best parts... Wine & snacks are served at sunset time on the rooftop terrace as long as you are there. I, personally, was there on the 14th Septembe, the day you checked, but we did not see you at the terrace to come and meet you and offer you our snacks & sweets. Breakfast provisions are in the fridge and in the kitchen. You can help yourself and serve them wherever you feel like: in the front yard or on the rooftop terrace, just above the house. In our houses, we offer the following breakfast provisions: juice, honey, butter, peanut butter, merenda, 2 kinds of marmalade, a can of condensed milk, sugar, milk in individual portions, tea, 2-3 kinds of coffee, 2-3 kinds of cereal, cereal bars, toast, as well as fruits, yogurt, chocolates, smoked turkey, bread, cheese and biscuits, all packaged in portions following the instructions given by the WHO organization and the Greek Government. Enjoy breakfast on your private yard/terrace, with an amazing Caldera & sea view! In case you run out of one or more provisions, please let us know in advance in order to refill it. In 3 minutes walking distance is the HELIOS beautiful hot tub area, under the shadow of a big pink & white bougainvillea tree! Dear Venus, once again I thank you for choosing our house!

Amazing view

Great location - one of the best, if not the best - if you want to see the infamous sunset of Santorini. However, super crowded area at that time of day so you don't get much intimacy from your rooftop terrace as you have hundreds of tourists overlooking the terrace from above! The spa is pretty far (5 min walk) if you are really planning to enjoy it, and there is no view from there. House is small but very special and well equipped. Breakfast is provided, which is pretty convenient. And Maria has been a great host, helpful us finding some snorkeling activities for our family.
