Beach Front Condo with Outstanding Views

After a 45 minute drive down an excellent highway from Los Cabos Airport, you will come to the crystal clear Bahia de Palmas. The condo is directly on the beach and has spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. Relax in the quiet pool-just a few steps from the condo. Snorkel and kayak right from the beach in front. There is an amazing variety of tropical fish and live coral. Enjoy long walks on the beach and stop at the nearby resort to schedule a massage or enjoy a poolside margarita.

Los Barriles has several excellent restaurants or you can cook in the fully stocked kitchen. Go deep sea fishing then cook your tuna on the grill! Enjoy hiking, windsurfing, kitesurfing,horseback riding and ATV tours of the Arroyos. Take day trips to Cabo Pulmo Marine sanctuary, Punta Pescadero, Cabo san Lucas, or La Paz. You can find waterfalls and hot springs in the area as well as the only zoo in the Baja. Or just relax, read a book and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you!

Ocean View

Great quiet location about 1 mile South of the main section of Los Barriles. Full kitchen with microwave, coffee maker. The unit has decent water pressure in the shower. The view is unreal. Nice little deck. The condo has a nice pool and access to the beach. There are quite a few stairs to get around the unit, but steps are good for you. I would stay here again.

Comfortable and convenient

We were very comfortable here and enjoyed our visit greatly. The bed is comfortable, the condo gets good breezes, the pool deck is nice, and the beach is right there.

Stunning View

I highly recommend this property. Watching the sunrise in the morning was great, and you are steps from the beach. This condo was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed our time at this little hidden gem. Thank you, Sharon.

Barriles 2024

Wow this place is amazing! Super clean & well organized- the bed is GREAT the location of Mar Y Sol is wonderful-5 minutes to downtown and the beach here is awesome, good swimming & snorkeling just steps away. We have stayed here in the past but not at this unit, looks like lots of updated appliances & furniture, super comfy. This is our new favorite place in the Barriles area & we can’t wait to visit again!!

Beautiful

Balcony overlooks the Sea of Cortez resulting in beautiful sunrises, friendly neighbors and quaint small town. Great laid back atmosphere, (I could easily live here). Sharon was a good host and offered amenities that were above expectation ie. kayaks and snorkel gear. She also provided a book listing places to eat and get groceries and other shops aned services in town.

Amazing views!

We wanted something on or near the beach, and boy did we get it!! When looking to book, the map shows that this place is not near the water. However, we discovered that that is the property management company that maintains the condos. This place overlooks the water and is literally steps away from the beach! The condo had everything we needed and the check in instructions were very clear and well detailed. The location is very private and only a 5 minute drive from LB. The airport is about 45 minutes away. We had a rental car so we could explore other areas (La Paz, etc.) but one could take a bus and then rent a side by side for exploring just as easily. If you envision being lulled to sleep by the gentle waves and drinking your coffee on a balcony overlooking the Sea of Cortez watching the sun come up, this is the place for you!

Another Great stay in Los Barilles

Couldn’t be happier. Amazing Christmas week vacation with whales and 80 degree weather. Perfect for single or couples, we really enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Great location, fantastic views

My friend and I stayed at this gorgeous condo. Exactly as advertised! Very comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning (it was VERY muggy during our stay). Kitchen was stocked with the essential tools, lots of space to cook. Already trying to plan for our next stay :) Highly recommend!

Fabulous Condo in quiet complex.

Condo is a quiet one-bedroom w/nice kitchen and great veranda overlooking the area's best shoreline. There are kayaks on beach, nice pool, and quiet at night for great sleep. Best are the helpful neighbors, many of whom own or are frequent renters who have vested interest in getting to know you! Great place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Great value!

The apartment was great! It had everything we needed and the location was great; we did not rent a car but walked into town on the beach which took maybe 15 minutes. We snorkeled in front of condo as well as hund put on the beach. Each morning we walked the beach which was lovely. We would definitely go again.

Relaxing Mar y Sol

Our one week stay at Mar Y Sol condos was comfortable and enjoyable. The complex is small (30 ish units) quiet, well maintained with friendly residents. Brant's condo is comfortable and exactly as advertised. The kitchen is reasonably equipped. The wifi worked well. We did not use the TV on our vacation. Nor did we use the A/C... always a breeze flowing through the condo. The king bed was comfy and the balcony view, its greatest asset, spectacular!

Beautiful ocean view and sunrises

We really enjoyed our week here. Make Sure you get up early to enjoy the sunrises, they are spectacular here. The place was comfortable and a casual feel, just what we were looking for. The beaches are beautiful and are perfect for walking on.. and a easy walk to town. The down side it was too windy all week to go into the water to swim or snorkel.. but that’s the area this time a year. If you are a kiter it is paradise. Also, parking was challenging with our larger vehicle, not enough parking spaces when we were there. Besides that small issue we had a great time, so much to do in the area. Lots of great mountain biking, hiking, and hidden good restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here.

A great place to say in Los Barriles

This unit exceeded our expectations in every way. Right on the beach, short distance to town, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, good wifi. Having the washer/dryer was a great benefit. Lots of friendly neighbors, and they were all nice despite many of them being Canadian. We are staying another two months in two other rentals that cost 25% less. Even though we are on a budget, I am now convinced that I should have paid the extra and stayed longer at this place. Pay the extra... it is worth it!

Would go back ... Awesome views.

A mile or two south of Los Barrilles... Awesome view of Sea of Cortez. Decent snorkeling in front. Some actual live pieces of coral. Convenient parking spot, fast internet, well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom had an issue with orders coming up the drain. Was pretty rank the first day,.. we kept the fan on and eventually it cleared up. Photo show a direct view over the pool however this unit does not have that. Would definitely go back to this unit.

Sun and Sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sol y Mar (Sun and Sea), so aptly named. We woke to stunning sunrises each morning, and lulled to sleep each night by the sound of the sea. Unit was clean and well equipped, bed comfortable, and plenty of towels including beach towels for use. Best part was the proximity to the beach directly out front with some great snorkeling right there when the seas were calm. We will definitely be back!
