This historic district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The apartment has a private, separate entrance located on the second floor. The decor is a traditional Vermont country style with a mix of new and antique furniture. It's a bright, light one-bedroom apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. The living room has a full-size pull out couch. Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or glass of wine on the deck overlooking the garden during the warm months. If you're coming for a romantic getaway, skiing, biking, hiking, leaf-peeping, working, or antiquing, the Annex is centrally located! Walk to shops, restaurants, the Fairbanks Museum, St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Catamount Arts, and St. Johnsbury Academy. Bike to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. This home is amazing. Plenty of room, very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owner has provided all the essentials and then some. I would definitely recommend and if we come back to the area we will try to rent it again.

We had a lovely stay at the Annex. It is spacious, comfortable,beautifully set up and decorated with fun and functional pieces. We were just two, but it would work well for four, and definitely would be a find for a family! Communications were clear and always helpful - Kim was great!

Charming and beautifully decorated apartment. We loved staying here, It’s close to the Fairbanks Museum and downtown area. The host was very friendly and helpful. She had many welcoming touches that made you feel right at home. We’ll definitely be coming back.

The Annex is delightfully appointed with a lovely eye for details and decor, and impeccably clean. The kitchen is well equipped, right down to fresh ice in the freezer and complimentary milk in the fridge for coffee/tea. The apartment is situated on a street of beautiful homes, within walking distance to amenities and entertainment.Of particular note is the deck space with room for two comfortable chairs and a side table. We enjoyed our time spent relaxing outside, overlooking the garden area, and star gazing once it got dark.Kim was an excellent host with prompt and helpful responses to our communications.
