This home is beautiful, from the welcoming covered porch entry, into the fully restored interior with elegant high ceilings. The house offers all the comfort of a brand new construction while maintaining the original character of this 1904 home. Within 5 minutes from the University of Washington Tacoma, museums & theaters. Within walking distance of hospitals, parks, local retail, cafes and pubs or pop down into the city for a fun night at the casinos, different theaters or the Tacoma Dome

The house was lovely, with plenty of provisions. The host was responsive and kind. We stayed during Christmas and it was a pleasant surpise to find a Christmas tree set up in the living room.

Great location for the convention center, dog friendly, gorgeous historic home. One of the most well equipped kitchens I have ever seen. You will never run out of towels . Lots of special touches
 snacks, water, tooth brushes, etc. wonderful host. This our third stay in this beautiful home. We will be back in March

Great house

This house was perfect for my family when we visited Tacoma for state wrestling. Very clean and welcoming and not far from where we needed to be. Would stay here the next time we are over in that area

Great Home

Fantastic location, especially if you have anything happening at the convention center or downtown. This is our second stay here and it was a wonderful experience with a wonderful host. Home has everything you could need. We will be back.

This older neighborhood in Tacoma with its home built in 1904 has been beautifully remodeled and is stocked with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was fantastic including glasses for cocktails and everything needed to cook a nice meal. We even had coffee, tea, water, sodas and snacks available to us. Nadia was very quick to respond to any questions we had and made our check in/out process a breeze. House was exactly as it was presented and we loved our stay!!!

Super Convenient

Nadia is a very responsive host. The property is clean, super updated and the best thing is the well stocked kitchen. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, spices for cooking - all available making a stay here very convenient.

Old-world charms butvwith modern amenities

Fun stay. Though a period home, it was remodeled but the historical nature of the home remains intact.Good neighborhood and close to amenities and Tacoma activities. The owner was so kind , responsive and available. And what a cornucopia of treats awaited when we arrived. Quite and comfortable. Will keep as a favorite so we can come back.

Great stay for a group!

Our group of friends rented this house for a weekend in Tacoma to attend a wedding. The house was perfect for our group's needs. There were plenty of bedrooms and beds and the communal space was spacious. We especially enjoyed the modern kitchen and bathrooms. The amenities were exceptional including laundry, toiletries, snacks and lots of coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Family wedding

This house was exactly what we were looking for to have family members stay together for a wedding. This is a well maintained and beautiful old home that was perfect for our stay. Extra care is shown with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and little niceties like extra toothbrushes and toiletries. We could have easily stayed a few more days to enjoy the backyard fire pit and the surrounding museums. Hopefully we will get another chance!

Beautiful house with wonderful amenities

We loved our stay at the 1904 home in Tacoma, the property is so beautiful and historic but has the modern updates that make it feel like the newest of homes. The host is great with communication and was so kind to leave welcome treats for us. There were so many lovely Christmas decorations, it made it feel perfect to celebrate New Year’s here and our family enjoyed staying here so much, we’re hoping to book again in the future. Defoe 5 star property!

Absolute dream!

Easily one of our favorite Vrbo’s we have ever stayed in. The property was beautiful! We had some warm weather and the back yard was a dream to spend time in. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. The details of the decor and house were gorgeous. We really had a great time with our friends and family in town. We met the hosts at the end and they were a pleasure. Ample parking out front of the homes as well. WE RECOMMEND

What a beautiful home!

This is probably the nicest updated 1900's home I've ever seen. So well done with the updates - the kitchen and bathrooms were incredible. And - to find excellent AC in most of the rooms - that was so very good. The property management was incredibly communicative and responsive, and the location was close to our conference.

In Tacoma for a Land Trust conference

This was such a beautiful house, and love the ease of finding it, all the amenities that were stocked for us, and how clean the whole house felt! The tiny candy bowls all over were a big hit to find, and we loved hanging out in the back yard after a long day in lectures. After being surrounded by hundreds of people, this house felt like a nice retreat to reset for the next day.

Tacoma Stay

We were in town for a memorial service and this was our home base. We had several different family members come together and it was the perfect place. We cooked together, shared memories and just connected. The house is awesome as with the 3 floors we had room to spread out and large roomy space to connect. The owners had left nothing out, every room was perfect and perfect a wonderful experience. Definitely a place to stay if ever in Tacoma.

Comfortable and spacious, centrally located in Tacoma

A lovely and comfortable historic home - would book again! My family of four and my two sisters stayed here for a weekend. We all had plenty of space and a lovely stay. The house is 120 years old, and it retains its original charm, while having been tastefully updated with modern light fixtures, bathrooms and kitchen. It has good temperature control as well, and lots of towels and cozy blankets. The owner is very helpful and responsive. My kids enjoyed sleeping in the third floor bedroom, which is adorable, and exploring the house and finding all the elephant figures and candy bowls. We appreciated how centrally located this property is to various destinations around Tacoma.

Fabulous "This Old House"

Exceptional house! 120 years old with all modern amenities yet fabulous historic features. This house has the original pocket doors between the living room and dining room and the original front door. Super close to all things Tacoma. Easy parking on street. Awesome "kids room" on 3rd floor but I would not recommed small children since there are lots of nice things. We had our 7 year old granddaughter and it was fine. Nice fenced backyard too.

Everything you could ever need, stunning home

Wonderful communication with Nadia. The home was decorated for Christmas, with a tree, decorations throughout the home and lights on the outside. The coziest throw blankets everywhere and the kitchen....omg. I have never been to an VRBO with such an extensively supplied kitchen. There is nothing forgotten (except I couldn't find scissors, but I didn't look too hard). Beautifully decorated and so many special touches. Little candy bowls everywhere, so, so many towels, snacks and drinks in the kitchen, all the toiletries you need. We forgot toothpaste and she had travel size toothpastes and toothbrushes. We will most definitely be back, since our daughter lives in Tacoma. It was a perfect location as we had a Gymnastics meet at the Convention Center. A+++++
