Absolutely wonderful!! The condo was so cozy and inviting. It had absolutely everything you could possibly need from beach toys for the kids, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels etc. The direct access was great! Definitely going to plan another trip.

Family Trip

The place was exactly as advertised. Great location. Enough room for the 6 of us to relax and not be on top of each other when hanging out after a relaxing day on the beach.

Great place

The place was great. The pool wasn’t opened yet for the season which was a bummer with small children. They have games and a few toys for when kids stay there. The hosts were wonderful and easy to work with and get ahold of when needed! Definitely recommend this place

Excellent Place to stay

This Condo really impresses, with its Ocean view, plenty of windows on the ocean side of the condo, open floor plan and plenty of seating out on the balcony looking out at the ocean. The condo was exceptionally clean and organized. The owners were very accommodating and responded right away when I had questions regarding our stay. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Experience!

This place is great!! Comfortable, convenient, clean -- everything we were looking for. The owners do a terrific job anticipating guests' needs, and when I had a question, they were immediately responsive and helpful. There's a great view of the ocean from the porch, the amenities were excellent, and the beds were comfy. My kids loved the pool and playground. I'd definitely stay here again!

Mini family vacation

We took a short vacation to take our 2 year old to see the beach for the first time. The condo was AMAZING! Fully stocked from kitchen utensils and supplies to extra beach essentials! The condo was very clean welcoming. Communicating with the Teresa was so easy! She made sure you were comfortable the whole trip! Every minute of our stay was so enjoyable! We loved staying here!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Teresa was great at communicating with us ahead of the trip, just ahead of our arrival, and with a quick check-in after we had a chance to settle in. The space was exactly as the pictures show. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. They did not miss any details when setting up the space for a family vacation. The location cannot be beat. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the ocean. The beach access is right at the property’s edge and the pool is very nice, too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

North Topsail Getaway

Pelicans Retreat was the perfect place for our weekend beach getaway! Everything was fresh and new in the condo due to recently being renovated. Three separate bedrooms worked nicely for our family. Amazing ocean / beach views from the living area, dining area, and kitchen! Convenient beach access just a few steps away. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Just What I Needed

My stay at The Pelican Retreat was exactly what I sought. The location was perfect and had beautiful water views from both sides of the condo. The condo was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything that I needed for my stay. Teresa was awesome and really made sure my stay was completely comfortable. 10/10, would recommend! I’d definitely book there again.

Nice setting for our adventures

The property was just as it looked in the listing pictures. The interior was well cared for and everything seemed fairly new and in good shape. Communication with the hosts was easy and comprehensive, and they were very accommodating with requests. The beach on this end of the island can get a bit narrow, but it wasn’t too bad in front of the property. There are definitely buildings further down that have much less beach in front of them If you’re looking to stay on this part of the beach, this unit would be good pick. We would stay here again if in the area.

Peaceful Retreat

We only had our Marine daughter off base for 5 days. Our short time together was wonderful thanks to the fabulous hosts of Pelican’s Retreat! This condo exceeded our expectations! We were steps away from the beach with beautiful views from every window. There is a personalized touch to the home that makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. Our daughters loved the coffee bar and my husband and I appreciated the kitchen stocked with upgraded cookware and dinnerware. It is a true home away from home. This condo will not disappoint!
