The place is located in Conowingo/Port Deposit. It is 5 mins from the Conowingo Dam and the upper Susquehanna River which is famous for fishing, bird watching, and water activities. Visit the historic Port Deposit and Havre de Grace where excellent restaurants, shops, and beautiful views. The Great Wolf Lodge and Hollywood Casino are only 4 miles away. The area is also great for animal lovers, the Plumpton Zoo is 10 mins away and 20 mi. Fair Hill Equestrian center . Don't forget to visit the Amish farmer's market for fresh local produce.

The place is 45 mins from Baltimore, 20 mins DE, and 7 mins to PA line.

House was very nice. Owner is very accommodating and appreciated the consistent communication. Perfect place to be away from it all. Would definitely stay again.

The property is lovely! Quiet and very much off the beaten path. The hosts are wonderful, they went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The location was perfect for my needs with a beautiful daily drive to and from the local event I was attending as an added bonus.

Absolutely lovely place to get away

It was so peaceful and relaxing the house felt like a home away from home. All the amenities, you could ask for and more. So close to everything places to eat places to shop I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect spot in adorable location!

We absolutely loved Eagles Nest and would 100% visit again! It was well stocked, every detail was thought of and explained, well thought out and was just perfect! The only thing I wish it had that it didn’t have was ice! Total not a big deal but just something to note! WillDefinitely come back! Downtown Port Deposit was adorable!!

Comfortable and clean

My family throughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was exceptionally clean, and had unique building features. The location was in the beautiful countryside and close to many local attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Nest. The location was very quiet, peaceful, and private. The rental definitely met our needs. The kitchen was very well equipped/stocked. Included many items not usually included in a rental. Having an electric tea kettle and Keurig with an assortment of coffees/teas, creamers, and sweeteners was an added treat. Walter was quick to respond to any questions/ concerns I had and all were addressed promptly. Walter is an excellent host! I would definitely recommend this rental!

Really cool place close to Port Deposit

This was one of our best VRBO experiences to date. The house was so clean, the owners thought of everything to make the stay like you were at home. We loved that it was only two miles to the town of Port Deposit which was a really fun town with lots of restaurants and bars on the river. There were not many accomadation options in this part of Maryland and we picked the best one for sure!!!!!

Thanksgiving with Family

This was the perfect location to have Thanksgiving with my uncle, who lives in Peachbottom, PA. The apartment is spacious, is excellently fitted with kitchen tools, dishes and oven to make a full dinner. The beds are comfortable and the blankets/towels are plentiful. The owners have thought of everything!

Anniversary weekend

We wished we had booked another night. The appartment was clean, comfortable, well stocked with everything you would need. The decor is interesting and unique, but comfortable. We would love to come back!

Just as described

Very nice place. Decorated nicely and owners made sure extras were available in case you forgot something. Our only issue was it's pretty far out in a very rural area. We are older so finding the place after dark presented a problem for us. But it was a very nice place.

Nice place

My partner and I were going to our 50th class reunion In Havre de Grace but due to a couple of weddings, our favorite b & bs in Havre de Grace was not available. This property was one of the few VRBOs that popped up and thought it looked appealing. It was appealing - immaculate, extremely comfortable bed, and had we been there more than a night, would have really enjoyed using the very comfortable living area and kitchen. Only 2 minor negatives - the property was somewhat our to the way and difficult to find and the shower was very small and cramped. Other that that, it was a very nice place and especially well-priced.

Intentional Quality and Fun Perks

You could immediately tell the hosts put a lot of thought into their space when it was created. Everything seamlessly flows together stylistically. The full kitchen has everything you need. Literally. There were plenty of extra bedding and linen and there were the little things that always make a guest smile: all toiletries if you forgot, full coffee and tea bar, and snacks. This is a weird detail, but I actually liked that the toilet and the shower were in different small rooms-super convenient when getting ready. There is not a tv in the bedrooms so heads-up to those who usually leave it on. The light controls are a little wonky, but there's directions and auto lights to help you out. These are more semamtics and not to detract from the space at all! Keep a close eye out for the sign to guide you in and be careful-its pretty tight getting back to the apt. There is a gravel driveway when you get there, just watch out for trees! We had such a pleasant stay at this space and if we were ever back this way, we would stay again. Thanks, hosts!
