Juste trois minutes Ă  pied de la plage et de la ville. Cette maison de vacances de trois chambres Ă  coucher et trois salles de bain et demi est situĂ©e dans une impasse tranquille dans la ville balnĂ©aire pittoresque de Hanalei, sur la magnifique cĂŽte nord de la rĂ©gion rurale de Kauai. Il prĂ©sente des plafonds et des murs en bois naturel, trois lits king-size et un lit gigogne, une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec un lave-vaisselle. Une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat, DVD, CD, WIFI, laveuse / sĂ©cheuse, ventilateurs de plafond, douche extĂ©rieure, barbecue et une vĂ©randa complĂšte pour les repas en plein air. De chaque fenĂȘtre il y a une vue imprenable sur la montagne.
La plus grande des trois chambres a un lit gigogne qui se transforme en deux lits simples en plus du roi. Ces gens partageraient la chambre et la salle de bain.

We all loved our quick stay at this beautiful property. Contact with the owner and property manager was so easy. The location is amazing, close walk to beach and town. We loved the spacious, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful lanai, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room and all the beach goods. We definitely want to go back and I would love to learn about the history of the house! Loved every minute staying there!

Great place to stay!

The location is amazing. Quick walk to town or the beach. We had a wonderful stay at the house and it had everything we needed for a nice stay. The balcony was the highlight - sitting there during passing rain clouds was 10/10.

Well appointed and generously spaced lovely home

Such lovely accommodations! Well appointed beach gear. All the rooms were so big and had such generous space. The kitchen was lovely and easy to navigate. Big lanai with gorgeous views.

Beautiful area, close walk to beach, wonderful spacious house! Hilary the property manager was attentive and responsive and quick to help. We had one hiccup with the propane being empty which caused a night of cold showers and having to go out to eat instead of cooking that night. It was resolved the next day.

Amazing!

We loved everything about the house. It was a great location: walking distance to shops and beach. Lots of beach equipment (snorkels, fins, etc) and amazing deck.

Perfect Getaway

The home was just perfect for our two families. The location was ideal, we loved walking to and from the beach and town. ALL amenities needed were provided. The home was spacious and tidy. I adored the beautiful orchids and flowers on property and of course the outdoor shower! Hope to come again!

Love Hanalei!

The house was perfectly set up for the 6 of us. We took daily walks to town & beach which was only minutes away. The kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans/etc. and we fully utilized the boogie boards! The house manager was very helpful & responsive.

Happy Hanalei stay

Everything about this home was perfect! The house is comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect, close to beach and town. The waterfall views from the lanai were spectacular! We cooked many meals in the kitchen and never felt like we didn’t have the right equipment. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys to use. We are already talking about our next trip!!

Great getaway just a short walk from the beach!

Our family enjoyed the open layout of the house, the available amenities (sand toys, beach towels, beach chairs, outdoor shower and beautiful 2nd story deck). The property manager was very responsive. Even though the house is right next to other neighbors, the landscaping and trees make it seem like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We truly enjoyed the ability to walk to the beach everyday with our kids (ages 5 and 2), and the laid-back town atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you!

Great stay with teens!

Beautiful home full of charm in a great location! Easy walking distance to Hanalei Beach and Hanalei Town. Owners clearly care about their home. We were quite comfortable sleeping without AC in August. Windows and ceiling fans provide great ventilation. Roosters are a part of Kauai. Everyone in the family adjusted to the noise after the first night. The teens loved all the beach gear provided by the owners, which was in great condition. Nice big washing machine and dryer. If coming to Hanalei pack light - you won’t need much!

Over all it was a very nice place. Could use air conditioning since the upper level got extremely hot in the afternoon. The wash cloths were stained and should be replaced. We did have bugs in the upstairs bathroom that was sprayed by management but felt they should have called exterminator.

Prime location

This house is an easy walk to town, farmers market and the beach! Super spacious, we had 4 adults and 4 kids with more than enough space. Tons of beach toys, snorkel gear, beach chairs and ice chests.

A week in paradise!!

Our stay was perfect. The house was clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. Large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. No A/C but with all the windows and sliding doors open there was a very comfortable breeze. Would definitely rent again.

Delightful covered deck for coffee and wine, and wonderful sleeping

Elayne and Dave's home is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed having our coffee and wine on the lovely outside covered deck. We watched and listened to the rain and then saw rainbows!! The view of the mountains from the deck is just beautiful. What we really came to appreciate is how well we slept because we had great air flow in our bedrooms. We spoke with other folks that were renting from another VRBO and they were hot while sleeping. We were cool and slept so well. Each of the 3 bedrooms has great cross windows. We would happily rent from Elayne and Dave again.

Heart of Hanalei House

This property was a great fit for our trip. We had 6 total- my husband and me, our two boys (10 & 12), my mom and my brother. We walked into town (3 minute walk) every day to run to the Big Save for groceries, wander through the shops, or eat at one of the restaurants (or grab Shave Ice!). The beach was also a short 3 minute walk. Such a great location! The house felt very appropriately Hawaiian in style and decor. The 3 rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the outdoor areas (deck upstairs and down) are perfect. Each room has its own bathroom and there is even a half bath off the living area. We were told the temperatures were higher than seasonally expected while we were there and it did get pretty warm in the house as there is no AC. We slept with the windows open the first night, but quickly realized the roosters crow all night long and that it also didn’t necessarily cool us down that much. Not too hot to sleep, by any means, but would’ve appreciated a way to cool it down just a bit more. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to fix the meals we ate at the house. Overall, we loved this house and would absolutely stay here again!
