Dog Friendly Home (2 dogs maximum must be potty trained). Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and everything you need to cook your meals. Relax and watch your favorite shows or movies with the 55” smart TV in the comfortable living room. There are two full bathrooms with bathtubs. You’ll have access to the pool during the summer (No lifeguard available). Enjoy the pool bar, turn on the music using your Bluetooth and stock your drinks in the bar fridge. Opens from Memorial Day to Labor Day (dependingon weather dates may vary). Fire pit right outside your door available for you to enjoy the cool nights and relax in a tranquil atmosphere. Easy access to everything from this centrally located place. You are within minutes to the Ashland Mall, Paramount Arts Center, restaurants and healthcare facilities. KDMC is a mile down the road. In 15 minutes you can try your luck at Sandy’s Racing Gaming Casino. Have family fun at Camp Landing and Malibu Jacks. Enjoy a day in Central Park and stroll along Downtown Ashland to shop the wonderful boutiques and trendy coffee shops, ice cream shops and restaurants and bars. Get your selfies as you walk Art Alley. Located 20 minutes away is Little Sandy River where you can rent kayaks and book a tour with Dragonfly Outdoor Adventures. Grayson Lake is a 30 minute drive, you can rent pontoon boats and spend a fun relaxing day exploring the lake, swim and find waterfalls. Visit and explore our wonderful growing city and checkout concerts, fairs, festivals, live music, First Friday, Market on the Square and so much more you can find activities on Facebook at Visit Ashland KY. Please note: this is my private home. The lower level apartment has a separate entrance and is NOT a shared space. You will have privacy. However, if you would like to interact with us we enjoy meeting people. We’ve met a lot of interesting people and have made great friends with our guests. We do have indoor furbabies, Ailani who is a 13 year old super sweet boxer and Coco Chanel our prissy kitty (she never leaves the house).

This was a perfect stay for us! Host was wonderful and the property had everything we needed and then some. Felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

The owner was replacing the deck at the time of my stay around the pool. I still had access though. This was the first time staying where the owner actually lived on the grounds. They were so nice, we intermingled and spent a few evenings together!Salt of the earth people. I travel to the Tri-state area at least every few months, for the price and convenience you can’t find a motel anywhere, or receive better on on one customer service!

The place was bigger than I expected. However it was dirty and there was exposed wiring in several spots throughout the place. The owners seemed nice and responsive so I’m hopeful they take care of the minor things that need fixed bc it has potential to be a great place.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed the stay. We were disappointed because the listing changed from when we booked to when we arrived. We also were not aware that the owners lived upstairs until 3 days before arrival. The only real issue we had was the outside lighting. My boyfriend tripped on the stairs. And no visiable address so we passed by it three times the night we arrived. Over all we were happy!

It was PERFECT!

Stayed for a week and it was perfect. Lots of space and very clean. Beautiful place. The hosts are amazing people! They responded quickly if I had questions. Cute neighborhood and close to so many things. It really just felt like my home away from home. I’ll be staying there again in the future. Highly recommend!

Aloha, I’m April and my husband is Chris. I was born and raised in Hawaii and moved to Ashland in 2006. I enjoy cooking whenever I am at home. Due to my job I am rarely home as I am usually traveling for work. Chris was born and raised in Ashland. He has a talent in turning fixer upper houses into beautiful homes with modern amenities. The beautiful space you’ll be enjoying was fully renovated into a comfortable living space by him. We have 3 adult children. The basement apartment was created for our kids and was used by them and their friends while they were growing up. They created many great and cherished memories there. However, they have flown the coop and for several years the basement sadly sat empty longing to be used again. In 2022 when travel nurses were in need of housing we met the need by opening up our home. Now that the need for traveling nurses have dwindled we decided to open up this property to VRBO and other platforms for short term rentals as we enjoy meeting new people.

The neighborhood is tucked away in South Ashland where it is quiet and very tranquil. We enjoy watching the local wildlife and critters that roam around our yard. We usually set out feed for our family of deer that often make their bed in our backyard. We find the sound of the birds to be relaxing and watching the squirrels to be entertaining.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

During warmer weather, usually between Memorial Day to Labor Day we provide access to our 33ft swimming pool and pool bar. ( No lifeguards provided). Floats, noodles and lounging chairs are available. The pool bar has a fridge that you can use to stock your drinks while you enjoy the pool. There’s also a Bluetooth speaker you can connect your favorite music to. Right outside your door is our fire pit that will be fully stocked with firewood.
