Only 4.3 miles from the entrance to Snowhoe Mountain, nestled in the back of the beautiful Sunset Mountain Village, sits this hidden private cabin with everthing you could want for a perfect mountain vacation. This beautiful cabin and 15 private acres of woods, streams, wildlife, and gorgeous nature will be all yours. In addition to five bedrooms, 9 beds, living areas on the main floor and the basement, you will have an open deck overlooking the pristine mountain wilderness, and a walkout basement patio. A spacious hottub, two fire pits, an inside fireplace will keep you comfortable and warm, while a gameroom and open fields will give you room to play. The kitchen is stocked, the grill is ready, and amazing memories awaits you. The cabin sleeps 12-13 people and the special touches will make you feel at home and welcome.

A short drive to snowshoe mountain opens up a world of possibilities, including skiing, tubing, mountian biking, horseback riding, and much more. Immeasurably More Retreat is a perfect mountain getaway for spring through fall in addition to the winter months. There is Snowhoe Mountain, home of the world famous mountain biking trails and international competitions. Explore multiple state parks and Civil War battlefields, in addition to state and national forests. Hike or drive to some of the mini waterfalls, or take a ride on the scenic railroad. You can also visit the Green Bank Observatory, or try your luck trout fishing in one of the East Coast’s prime spots on the Elk River just a few miles from the cabin.

Very welcoming and helpful with navigating the area! The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved our time there and wished we could have stayed longer.

Holiday Stay Near Snowshoe

Beautiful cabin in an isolated location near the Snowshoe Resort. This is a spacious cabin with a lot of space for a large group to stay. What a great weekend!

The cabin was awesome. It was just as described. The communication with the owner and the property manager was top shelf. We arrived on Friday with no snow on the ground. My grandson prayed for snow and we got 8" Friday night. The hills were great for hiking in all that snow. We all had a great time and will definitely schedule another visit.

Great extended family retreat

This cabin was a truly lovely spot for a Christmas gathering of our extended family. We were 11 people, age 4 to 70+, and the cabin had plenty of space for everyone. The basement was a great spot for the kids to play while the adults relaxed upstairs by the fire, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking a big holiday meal. Communication was excellent, with the property manager calling the day before checkin to provide the door code and answer questions about the local area, and a binder in the house with all kinds of details. The hosts provided so many thoughtful touches - we were thrilled to find some welcome gifts and a fully decorated Christmas tree! The back deck was a gorgeous spot to hang out when the weather was nice, we had fun exploring the surrounding woods, and we made good use of the fire pit and hot tub. We would absolutely come back and stay again!
