PARFAIT POUR LA FAMILLE, DIRECTEMENT SITUÉ SUR LA PLAGE DE HOOPERS BAY DANS LA VILLA CORAL SANDS.

Idéal pour une famille avec 2 ou 3 enfants ou 2 couples, cet appartement confortable et moderne, DIRECTEMENT SUR LA PLAGE, avec sa propre entrée séparée et privée de la villa principale 'Coral Sands' et que nous avons loué à de nombreux visiteurs très satisfaits de HomeAway depuis de nombreuses années. L'appartement a une chambre Queen et une chambre double (avec un espace pour un lit d'appoint ou fait comme un roi) + salle de bain avec baignoire et douche, WC et vanité + cuisine complète avec cuisinière et four, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetières, bouilloire, etc. avec un salon et une salle à manger ainsi que de grandes portes coulissantes en verre menant à la grande véranda couverte donnant sur la mer, équipée de tables et de chaises pour se détendre ou prendre un repas en plein air.
Quelques marches à travers notre jardin tropical vous mèneront sur la magnifique plage de Hoopers Bay - considérée comme la meilleure pour rester à Exuma !! La longue plage de sable fin qui descend en pente douce dans une eau calme et protégée est idéale pour les enfants de tous âges. Sur la plage, nous avons des chaises longues et des chaises pour nos invités, une douche sur la plage, des kayaks et si le soleil devient trop chaud, les cocotiers fournissent suffisamment d'ombre.

Idéalement situé sur l'île et à seulement 10 minutes de l'aéroport et à 6 minutes de Georgetown, plusieurs bonnes boutiques se trouvent à 5 minutes à pied. Une sélection de restaurants sont également à proximité entre l'appartement et Georgetown.

Can't Go Wrong

You can't go wrong with staying in Hooper's Bay. The water quality, the location, the beach, all glorious. And, you certainly can't go wrong with Coral Sands and Peter and Betty as your host. They are simply the best!

Great location

The location of our place to the beach was great. We could walk down to the beach and hang with the turtles anytime of the day. Nice sandy beach. Peter and Betty were wonderful and Peter was always available to answer questions. Great location to George Town and plenty of restaurants.

A Welcome Respite

We were both wonderfully surprised and completely happy with our stay. Peter was very informative and also accessible for questions, but not intrusive. The location on Hooper's Bay was magnificent and the suite was very clean and perfect for a quiet retreat from the busy-ness of life. For anyone looking for similar, you will be very happy.

On the most stunning beach I’ve ever seen!

Location was the deciding factor for this stay-right on Hooper’s Bay. Water pristine, very few people, soft white sand and clean beach. They provided lounge chairs and kayaks to use in the bay-each one of us enjoyed that adventure. Our beach was as beautiful as any beach located on Exuma. Very close to 2 grocery stores and Georgetown. Hosts were helpful on recommendations for every inch of the island! The interior provided the basics for your stay, including cable tv & Wi-Fi. Beds were very firm but I prefer a bit softer mattress. Overall, I’d recommend this stay based on the gorgeous beach, amazing patio that overlooks the water and convenience of Georgetown.

Great view but some glitches...

We enjoyed our recent stay at Coral Sands but it was not without some issues. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a realtor as the owners were off-island. We thought we had booked the main portion of the house but were told we had booked the west wing. I believe that could have been explained to us better as my husband went by the photographs on VRBO. Luckily, there had been a plumbing issue in the unit so we were moved over to the main portion, anyway. We had to wait for the housekeeper to come and change the linens and towels as someone had checked out earlier. The house was as pictured. Apparently, there was supposed to be information for us regarding the house but we didn't get it. For the first three days we had no hot water because it hadn't been turned on. We just assumed we'd have cold showers for the week. When Peter returned to island and stopped by to see how we were we mentioned it. The realtor was supposed to turn it on and didn't. The television remote did not work well and there was no DVD player (as mentioned in amenities). There is a safe but no key. If you're travelling with a lot of cash (we were told small restaurants don't take credit cards so we had a great deal), this is an issue. I carried it with me the entire week and was uncomfortable. Without instruction we struggled with the AC in the bedroom and bathroom. We had no telephone or WiFi for much of the trip. We did not have international calling on our phones and had to call back to the US to check on an aging parent which we would have done through texts. It ended up costing us an extra $100 on our cell phone bill which I was not expecting. I advise travelers to opt for international calling before going to Exuma. We dined out each night and our anniversary meal was at the Rusty Anchor and we had top notch food and service. Best meal of the trip! There is a small grocery store up the road for essentials and driving the island is easy. Be advised our rental car had the steering wheel on the right and driving is on the left (as it is in Europe). There's a bit of a learning curve. We also went bonefishing one morning with Bonefish Stevie and had a great time! Most of our issues were minor but this was our 37th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday trip and it was not as blissful as we had hoped. The beach was lovely (probably one of the prettiest we've ever seen). We literally had it all to ourselves most of the stay. We hope to return to Exuma in the near future.

We notified you in advance that our realtor representative would be welcoming you on your arrival & when we returned the the next day, we were pleased to visit you & explain more about the villa including how to use the A/C remote & put on the hot water. We were also very pleased that our representative had already given you the video player & remote on your first afternoon! Our only regret is that we could not cure the island-wide internet problem which everyone suffered for a few days after a central upgrade in Nassau failed - now fortunately this is rectified & everyone is very happy! Absolute paradise!!

We recently returned from an amazing 7 night trip to Exuma. We are so happy we found this gem of a location! This was our 2nd trip to Exuma, 1st time at this location, and it by far exceeded our expectations. It is situated in the perfect location on Hoopers Bay. The water is gorgeous, calm and full of sea turtles! Peter and Betty were great hosts, ensuring all questions and needs were taken care of. They were very informative, offered wonderful suggestions and advice. Thanks to Peter we found several new beautiful spots to enjoy…Pretty Molly Bay and Forbes Hill. Our favorite beach has to definitely be the one we stayed at…Hoopers Bay. We stayed on the top floor and had a great deck to enjoy the beautiful views. It’s a short walk through the sand and a lovely garden to the beach where you can enjoy lounge chairs, kayaks, snorkeling or swimming with the very friendly turtles. Peter and Betty have a beautiful place in the best location! They arranged everything for us and made sure we were taken care of….we will definitely be returning! Can’t wait until next time!

Beautiful island! Easy travel and wonderful Caribbean vacation.

Exuma is a hidden gem. We came on recommendation from relatives and it definitely lived up to the hype. We spent much of our time visiting the beaches all along the east side of the island. The location of this property is good for a couple reasons. It is located on Hoopers Bay which is well protected from wind. Also, it is in the middle of the island which makes it easy to explore both the northern and southern beaches in no more than 30 minutes drive. The property is in good condition and the Oxley’s made sure we were well taken care of. The beaches we visited were outstanding. It was an easy flight from Atlanta directly to the island. We highly recommend it!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

We visited Great Exuma 31 May through 7 June 2018. My first impression was even more than I expected. Beautiful stunning waters and beaches! I almost cried! Coral Sands was just the perfect place for my husband and I. Everything was just outstanding. Peter was very helpful and provided us a lot of information as first timers to the island. We hung out on Hooper's Bay, rented a boat for two days exploring and snorkeling, and also rented Peter's jeep which was helpful to go explore the island. I cannot say enough about this fabulous place and island. We loved it and will be going back in the future!

A little bit of heaven on earth!

Best place to stay on the island in my opinion. We loved being on Hoopers Bay, water was calm and shallow, perfect for our kids and my mother in law to wade in! We enjoyed using the kayaks that were included with the rental and got to see the sea turtles swimming in the bay nearly every day. A rental car is a must in my opinion to explore the island, get groceries, and go out to eat on occasion. Peter was an excellent host, making sure everything was to our satisfaction and he let us rent his van which was a huge step up from the other rental vehicles on the island, not to mention, cheaper. The unit we rented was right on the beach, which was so convenient. We rented the upper unit and enjoyed being able to sit on the covered deck with a spectacular view of the beach. There were 5 of us, and we had plenty of room. The unit was clean and well furnished. We will definitely be back to this island paradise and rent again from Peter and Betty!

Truly a AMAZING experience!

Just came back from a 11 days stay at the Coral Sands... Wow a amazing experience . Starting by a arrange taxi pick up at the airport and and warm welcome by Peter the owner at the house upon arrival and departure . He was simply special... helping us with the highlight of the island and the car we rented from him ( perfect and clean). He was their all thru the stay to help us with tours boat and great suggestions. Hooper's Bay is the place to stay very well situated in the island and close from George town (5 min) . The house was simply gorgeous and very comfortable. Super clean and very well equipped.The terrace and the view is simply stunning! The beach is amazing! Don't search anymore it's the place to stay in Exuma! This is a GEM!!! Thank you so much you help us create unforgettable memories! We will be back!

Best Beach

Our family of four stayed at Coral Sands for the second summer and once again had a spectacular vacation. Hoopers Bay's is one of the best beaches on the island and we typically had the whole beach to ourselves. Great swimming beach for kids as no matter the wind conditions always calm in this bay. We rented the cozy two bedroom apartment which is perfect for out family (two girls, 9 and 11). Great second floor covered deck porch overlooks the bay with a beautiful view and two big tables for outside meals. Peter and Betty, the owners, live close by and are accessible if needed and a great source of local knowledge which they are eager to share. We rented a car from Peter which is advisable for exploring the island. We will be back!

Siamo stati nelle due ville di Peter e Betty per ben tre volte La cordialità , l'accoglienza e l'organizzazione dei proprietari è perfetta cosi come le ville ben tenute e fornite poste in luoghi paradisiaci .Peter e Betty vi guideranno con ottimi consigli alla scoperta delle isole vi organizzeranno i trasferimenti da e per l'aereoporto. Ci hanno anche assistito nel trasferimento da exuma a long island con un ottimo volo privato che in solo 20 minuti e allo stesso prezzo del volo di linea ci ha portati a long island e ritorno (con il volo di linea si perde tutta la giornata perche si deve passare da nassau) Se volete visitare queste due splendide isole andate da Peter e Betty non rimarrete delusi Grazie Peter and Betty per il sogno che ci avete regalato We stayed in two villas Peter and Betty three times The friendliness, hospitality and organization of the owners of the villas is perfect as well as well-maintained and equipped placed in the heavenly places. Peter and Betty will guide you with great tips to discover the islands will arrange transfers to and from the airport. They also assisted in the transfer to exuma in long island with a great private flight in only 20 minutes and at the same price of the scheduled flight took us to Long Island and back (with the line of flight is lost throughout the day because you must move from nassau) If you visit these beautiful islands go by Peter and Betty will not be disappointed Thank you Peter and Betty for the dream that you have given us

Amazing Vacation!

We just got back from a ten day vacation at Coral Sands and I can't say enough great things about it. I first want mention how helpful Peter is and how grateful we were to have such a nice host. He picked up some basic groceries for us since we arrived on a Sunday and showed us around both the property and showed my husband around Georgetown. He was always available quickly if we needed him and he stopped by a few times, as we requested. He helped us plan our trips to the north and south ends of the island giving us tips on what beaches to go to and where to eat. He really helped make the vacation a great one! The apartment was clean and stocked with the cooking basics. The deck had an amazing view of the beach and has patio furniture, perfect for the morning coffee or our card playing at night. The beach is secluded, seeing only a few people and has chairs and shade! Beautiful colours and soft sand (sandy bottom in the water too). Don't forget to walk down to the docks to see the turtles. Ask Peter about feeding them. We did and it was so much fun! I believe this is the perfect location for a vacation on the island. It's very close to town with the deli and grocery store just down the road. Georgetown is only 5-10 minutes away. It's also in the center of the island, perfect for our traveling days north and south. And a rental car is a must! These are some of the highlights of our trip. We did the full day tour with Coastline excursions that included boating through the cays, thunder ball grotto snorkeling, swimming with sharks, feeding iguanas and swimming with pigs (and more!). We also rented a boat with Minns and had a great day exploring on our own. We found some great secluded beaches, a sand bar and an abandoned ship to snorkel. The Tropic of Cancer beach is by far the most beautiful beach on the island. Make sure you stop at Santana's for their lobster, amazing food and good prices. Coco plum beach was fun for finding sand dollars. The Peace and Plenty hotel has a great BBQ and Catch a Fire is the place to be at sunset. Some restaurants in town have rake bands certain nights too. Also, you must go to Chat and Chill on Stocking Island and plan to spend the day there. Beautiful beach, great drinks/food and overall atmosphere. And they have tame stingrays that will eat right out of your hand! We had an amazing vacation and would recommend it to anyone. We moved from England in 1999 and in 2001 found the ideal, beachfront land on which to build our dream home 'Coral Sands Beach Villa'
Using a renowned architect to turn our ideas into plans, we oversaw the construction during 2002/2003.
We were keen to maximise the very special location of being centrally positioned on what is regarded as the best beach on the island and provide flexible accommodation for groups of 2 and up to 5 guests. We want to ensure that everyone has privacy with completely separate entrances in different parts of the building. Now with our combined 40+ years of welcoming guests to Exuma we are able to help with making the best suggestions to get the most out of a visit to the island.

You can enjoy a quiet stay with privacy on the prime Hoopers Bay Beach area which is residential with just a few upscale homes fronting the bay but convenient for local shops, the International Airport (5 Miles ) and George Town (3 miles ).

You may be able to see the resident Green turtles in the crystal clear water so for us, living on the island full time, it is an ideal spot as well as for visitors.
