Hosts were on the ball with this place and the communication. We absolutely loved the house, pool, location, and neighborhood. The pool was a must when double red flag or seaweed take over days. This will be one of the first VRBOs we will want to go back to.

This is the second year we’ve stayed here with our family and it’s perfect. We love the four master bedrooms with en suites. The pool is perfect and large enough for all 7 of us the be in there at the same time. The beach is a quick walk and there is daily availability to rent chairs and umbrellas. The house is very clean and fully stocked. We can’t say enough great things about this property!

Great place for large groups!

We had the best time at this beach house! We had 3 couples with kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house came equipped with everything you would need for the pool and the beach (towels included)! It’s exactly a 3 minute walk to the beach (as advertised). The pool/spa combo was nice as well. The owners were very communicative throughout the whole stay. 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again!

Maintenance Need to occurr

Property is indeed beautiful but needs to be scheduled for standard maintenance. We arrived and the pool was green tinted and full of leaves. We were told by owner that pool person would be out to service the pool the day after we arrived due to overflow issues. He didn't show up until the day before we left. Pool heater was so hot that the kids couldn't swim for fear of burning their skin -- Owner shut that off but still charged us full amount for week of heating. Owner sent a pool tech out to check out the heater and that tech asked us to help fill the pool with water while they attended another property down the street. (So much for our vacation). Air conditioner didn't work properly and temp in the house was 79 and was programed for 70 -- with infants in the house with us we called the owner again and another tech showed up and had to add 3 pounds of freon to unit and service the coils and filter which were very dirty and causing unit to not work properly. Overall, the house is beautiful but the attention to daily maintenance is being overlooked. Construction on the street to other houses was a problem every time we left and came back to houseWe will not stay there again.

Our family traveled from upper midwest to enjoy a family vacation and this home met all our expectations and more!The home itself was very welcoming, spotless, and beautifully decorated to give the sense of beachy, relaxing vibes. Kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to prepare meals. Ordering groceries for delivery was a breeze!The salt pool and spa was absolutely heavenly! Many hours of fun were spent in the pool. The neighborhood was family oriented, peaceful and private with the beach just a short walk away. Everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. We were able to have family photos taken at sunset at Henderson Beach State Park which was equally as amazing and wonderful. Mitch & Susan were wonderful hosts! They take great pride in their home and in making sure their guests have a remarkable experience so lifetime memories can be made. They made this trip easy. Mitch & Susan take the extra time to offer all the accessories to enjoy the beach, games for the house, and in preparing a guide of recommendations of local attractions and restaurants, which was super helpful. Our family was able to enjoy all the local attractions just a short drive away from the house.Their responsiveness to all communications, their helpful tips and recommendations sure enhanced our vacation experience and we are forever grateful! We would highly recommend this beautiful home and Mitch & Susan as hosts! We hope to return again!

Best Vacation Ever

Our family vacation was our 2024 Christmas present to our family and it turned out to be the Best present ever. The house is in a wonderful location in a culdesac with little traffic, the house itself is perfect with 5 gorgeous bedrooms and 4 full baths. We spent many hours in the pool and the hot tub in the evenings. Also, the private beach was amazing and really appreciated the chairs to take to the beach

College spring break

3 families with college students stayed at the home. It had everything we needed- coffee, spices, paper products, beach towels, beach chairs and more. The pool area was perfect for the 2 windy days we had- sheltered from the wind but completely sunny! Easy walk to beach. Beautiful home!

Great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our needs. The hot tub and pool was amazing. Four couples stayed together in the house. We each had our own bedroom and bath. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hosts were in communication with us the entire time to ensure our needs were met. They had beach equipment on hand. It was conveniently located to shopping. It was great.

Enjoyable stay!

Very clean with a great layout. Property hosts were available for any questions or concerns. They checked in with us a few times to make sure everything was up to standard. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm even in the cooler weather. Thank you Mitch and Susan.

Amazing Time

This property had everything that you can ask for and very close to the beach and shops. We had a great time wether it was hanging out by the pool, hot tub or relaxing in the house. I would highly recommend this property!

Susan & Mitch’s home is simply incredible. Beautiful, spacious, and an excellent location. About a 2 minute walk from the beach and about 6 minutes from my the grocery store, lovely surrounding restaurants as well. I booked a trip for my mom and dad to celebrate their 40th anniversary and they loved every moment of it. Communication between hosts was nothing short of amazing. I definitely recommend their home and would book again in the future.

Perfect house for a family

There were 8 adults in our group and this house was perfect! There were 3 couples so the en suite bathrooms were perfect. The pool was a great size that we all enjoyed after spending a few hours at the beach. The house was fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. This was for sure one of our favorite vacation houses!

AWESOME place

My group and I really enjoyed our visit. Great proximity to the beach with private access. It housed plenty of people with 5 rooms (4 with a king bed, 2 bunks). Everything with the check-in process was incredibly smooth. Couldn’t have picked out a better place! Perfect for a spot with friends or family!

Wonderful house to stay with Fam

The house and the hosts were great. The house is Stocked with absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even with all you need for the beach (chairs, wagon, toys). Awesome pool, plenty of sleeping space for large groups, and everything needed for entertaining, communication was awesome. Very responsive.

Our family of ten stay at Destin Haven was great! All ages enjoyed the pool as well as the short walk to the private beach. The property is terrific and well kept. Excellent air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the house kept us comfortable after being out in the heat and humidity. Reasonable access to all Destin has to offer.
