Pros: Home had three large nicely furnished bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Great space for a family. Pack and play new and clean for toddler. Also outside shower. Bed linens were new with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Short walk to Crème and Kone restaurant. Four beach chairs available for use. New washer and dryer. Kitchen was stocked with basic items for cooking (No dishwasher). Quiet short walking path to river behind home.
Cons: listed address of 150 Swan River Road on check in instructions is NOT the address. Actually address will appear on the contract. (Not warned by owner which made for a rough start trying to find the property). Contract emailed for signature just prior to check in with many rules (most reasonable) but followed by a fine for each rule if renter does not comply. Set a negative tone for stay. Would have liked to seen contract at time of booking. Included A/C to be maintained at 72 degrees. Recommend owner provide floor fans for night use when becomes stuffy in bedrooms. Only two beach towels provided (bring your own). No bath soap in bathrooms (bring your own) and some maintenance issues (broken coffee maker and vacuum, burned out bathroom lights) which owner was not aware of but attempted to rectify before our departure. Outside deck is weather worn with minimal furniture (old table with chairs).
Conclusion, great space but needs a little more attention to maintenance after each rental.
