Nous sommes situés à 5 minutes de Sturgeon Bay sur Glidden Drive. ceci est la rive du lac Michigan avec plage de sable. Nous sommes sur la route de la plage avec 200 'de l'accès à la plage cédé. notre maison dispose de 4 chambres. La chambre principale est une mezzanine avec un lit king size et dispose d'un balcon donnant sur le salon et cheminée ci-dessous. L'étage principal a une buanderie, une cuisine complète, salle de séjour, salle de bains et deux chambres avec lits queen size. L'étage inférieur a une autre salle de séjour avec télévision par câble, salle de bains, et une chambre avec un lit simple. Nous avons aussi un porche d'écran sur le devant de la maison. Sur l'arrière de la maison, nous avons une plate-forme de 10x10 avec un gril à gaz. Nous incluons également les draps et serviettes. Si vous préférez apporter votre propre qui est très bien. Glidden Drive est un endroit pour sortir et profiter de la paix et la tranquillité, mais est assez proche de beaucoup d'activités dans le comté de porte que vous pouvez conduire à profiter et à revenir à la maison pour se détendre après une longue journée. Nous avons d'excellents levers de soleil sur la plage et vous pouvez vous promener sur une plage de sable. Désolé, nous ne prenons pas d'animaux domestiques.

At the Lake Michigan Cape Cod house

A perfect house to stay at and perfect location as a 'home base' as we explored all that Door County had to offer. House was clean, lots of bedrooms, and close to the beach. Best part was the screened in porch where we sat every morning planning our day. Communication with hosts was great!!

Thanksgiving stay

Had a wonderful relaxed stay for Thanksgiving visiting family on Glidden Drive. Enough room for myself my wife and our three kids, 18,14, 8. An easy walk to the beach access across the street, the creek a block away or into the woods behind the house.

Relax and Rejuvenate!!

Great property!! House was very clean & owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. It was a very short walk to Lake Michigan and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch listening to the waves hit the shoreline. Thank you!

Motorcycle Vacation

Very nice and well stocked home! We enjoyed riding through Door County with friends, as well as coffee together on the screen porch and evening cocktails on the deck. Took several walks to the beach as well!

Girls weekend

This home away from home was awesome! We loved the open concept and beautifully decorated common areas. The bedrooms were very nice! Maybe take a look at updating the mattresses in the near future. The house was stocked with everything we needed! Loved being able to walk to the beach! Overall a great place to stay and would love to return for another visit!

Worked for us

House worked out just fine. The beach is close and neighborhood private and quiet. House had what we needed. Since it was our first time in Door County we didn’t realize we’d have to drive so far to get everywhere, but it was fine. If our friends hadn’t been staying in Ephraim, we might not have felt like we were so isolated.

Nice property

Stayed with a group of friends for our annual girls weekend. The house was great, well stocked kitchen, and owner easy to work with. Our only wish was that the property was actually on waterfront as requested in our filter. Yes, it did mention being across the road from the lake, but unfortunately it wasnt visible, couldnt hear the waves and was actually a short walk to get there. Overall it was a great weekend. Thank you for your hospitality.

Quiet place to stay

This house was well stocked and set up for guests. There were 4 adults and 2 children who stayed here comfortably. The basement room was fairly cold, however they did have a fireplace heater that worked, just didnt want to leave it on too long with children. The beach access is close but is down the road and across the street. It was located on a nice quiet street but was easy to get to the main town area. The property manager was responsive and even kindly mailed us a stuffed animal my child left.

We had such a wonderful stay. From the moment we booked, our host was responsive and easy to work with, which set the tone for a stress-free getaway.The home itself exceeded expectations. Often when a place says it “sleeps 6,” it can feel cramped or crowded, but this house was truly spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out for a group. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time together, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy living areas. The house was spotless and clearly well cared for.The personal touches made our stay even more special. We were greeted with a kind gift and a handwritten card—so thoughtful and appreciated. The binder of helpful local information was another nice touch that made planning our trip easy.Our group traveled to Green Bay for a Packers game and loved having this peaceful spot in Sturgeon Bay to come back to. The home was the perfect balance of comfort and convenience, with access to the lake and plenty of space for us to relax.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming retreat. Great place for a peaceful getaway!

We had a fabulous time staying here for the week of 4th of July! The weather was great and the location of the house was perfect for spending quality time with family. The access to the beach was convenient and even though it was a holiday week, it wasn’t crowded at all. If you are looking for a place away from tourists and crowds this is your place. We still could drive 15 mins to the areas that were more crowded and see all the cool things in Door County but return here for privacy. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the delicious welcome treats from the owners. We would return here and stay again. Some of our favorite adventures were visiting Cave County Park for awesome photos, taking the ferries to Washington island and Rock Island, as well as sitting on the screened porch having dinner, reading and listening to the waves. We also enjoyed relaxing on the beach, riding bikes on Glidden and went on a kayak tour of Cave County Park. Thanks!

Great house and location

Wonderful house with everything you will need anticipated by the very helpful owner. Even includes dish soap, napkins, paper towels, foil, ziplocs and all the things you usually have to run out to buy. Very roomy, extremely clean and inviting house. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay "on the quiet side" of the lake. It is not right on the lake and has no view of the lake, but a very short walk to path to lake. The only down side was there were a few things not working or had no instructions (e. g. DVD player, lights, fireplace, ice maker). Also, if you are planning on using the lower level (family room, shower bathroom and twin bedroom), be sure to find out how to turn up the heat down there! All that being said, would consider staying here again because of comfy beds, roominess, cleanliness and serenity.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, I have now included a Maintenance/Repair Form for Guests to fill out and it is found in our Guest Procedure Guide, along with Duplicate Instructions for the Fireplaces and DVD Player. The Ice Maker is awaiting it's second Service Call and more parts, hence the Bag of Ice found in the freezer and Note of Inconvenience. Love door county

This is a very well kept and well equipped house across the road from the beach with easy lake access. Glidden Drive which we have stayed on many times over the years. We were a family of 4 adults and one child. Two bathrooms, but one on the lower level with a living/sleeping area (double futon type) (no privacy for the sleeping area) and a small room with twin bed. A "Loft" bedroom with doors, large and a king bed, but no bathroom on that level. Two queen beds and a bathroom on the main level. It worked for us, but if you needed a bathroom on each floor of sleeping and not a lot of stairs, this would not work for you. Lots of towels everywhere and toilet paper, kleenex and paper towels to start which many places do not. We would recommend this place with a group our size.
