Master bdrm has wheelchair accessible ramp, large accessible shower, & water view. Living room with comfortable seating and large TV perfect after day of fishing, kayaking, or hiking. Full kitchen has everything you need, appliances & ample counters. Easily sleeps 8. Outside fire pit and propane grill. Read, fish, or swing in our private waterfront gazebo. Only 30 miles to OBX!
The space:
Gorgeous, private, quiet full half acre property right on the Albemarle Sound! Two kayaks and life jackets available for use on the pond or the sound. Peaceful, quiet, wooded neighborhood. All outdoor yard games, cushions, and life jackets are in the outdoor closet off the deck.
Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of two locked closets in the bedrooms.
Other things to note:
The front yard is fenced in - However, the backyard is not. Children (and non-swimmers) should be very closely supervised at all times when outside, especially near the water. There is no lifeguard on duty and you must be aware that you swim at your own risk! Where the stairs go into the sound it is approximately six feet deep. Please watch for stumps and rocks, although most of the sound floor is sand. No jumping for diving is allowed.
