"Acorn" Minutes de ski JF / BB, bain Ă  remous, table de billard, jeux d'arcade, WIFI

Les grands espaces communs ensoleillés et 6 chambres confortables (chacune avec TV) font d'Acorn Lodge un excellent choix pour les grandes réunions de famille. Une grande table à manger peut accueillir 10 personnes et une terrasse de 320 pieds carrés permet un espace extérieur peu fréquenté avec beaucoup d'espace pour faire du barbecue tout en étant amusant. Pour ajouter à son attrait, une salle de jeux bien aménagée (contenant une table de billard de 8 pieds, un jeu d'arcade gratuit à l'ancienne, une télévision de 55 pouces) et un bain à remous bien abrité. Beaucoup de siÚges confortables et Internet sans fil pour ces types d'intérieur aussi. Il est également à proximité des stations de Big Boulder et de Split Rock et de nombreux restaurants locaux. Il n'est pas étonnant que Acorn Lodge soit un favori trÚs populaire toute l'année.

50th Birthday Celebration

Me and 6 of my girlfriends rented the "Acorn" for the weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was even better than pictured and was perfect for our stay. It was spacious and roomy and located in a very nice neighborhood. We were close to restaurants/bars and only 30 minutes from Mt. Pocono where we did an escape room. The hot tub was a perfect addition! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great place for a big family

We stayed here unexpectedly when another place we booked received some damage in a storm. Overall, it was great. Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy even with a large party. The amenities were perfect for younger and older folks alike. There were some cobwebs around the windows probably just from not being opened enough in early spring. Nothing a quick dusting couldn’t fix! Counters, utensils, and table were all clean and ready to host dinner! Hopefully we’ll be back next year!

Beautiful location! Nice house, pretty clean, spacious a little outdated ( like no smart TV). Personally for us - not enough light, with all lights on it still very “dimly”. Kitchen has enough plates, mugs etc for a large group of people but you have to bring your own dish sponge - they don’t provide. There is a coffee machine (two actually) but don’t forget to bring a coffee pods and coffee filters! - they don’t provide!Paper towels- bring some, we had almost finished roll of paper towel left for us. And don’t forget about stuff like shampoo and body wash - there will be none. ( probably hair dryer is also a good idea to bring).These thing is bare minimum , it was my first house where wasn’t provided a dish sponge or was no salt in the kitchen! It was funny that we had to go to store, to buy a dish sponge to clean their dishes ( and yes, there is a dishwasher and pods - but come on, when you cook you always clean some dishes). AnywayHost was very short with his answers he didn’t seem to care. Overall these things didn’t ruin the stay, but would be nice to have essentials and don’t worry about it.

Property and stay was amazing. Pictures and listed amenities were accurate, and owner was extremely responsive over the phone. There are also a few convenient stops that are not too far from the lodge (e.g., Dunkin, Wawa's, bars). Would stay again.

Family gateway!

The property was spacious enough to fit everyone comfortably. The location was great. The hot tub was wonderful. We had a great time. The only negative is the bed is squeaky and the mattress needs to be replaced on some of the beds. Do travel with all your food condiments if you are planning to cook a meal for the family. Aside from that everything was nice.

Great Stay

It was a last minute trip for us and our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect for us. The neighborhood was great to walk around and we used the fire pit every day. The property manager made sure we were set for our stay. If I had more time to plan what we needed I would have brought trash bags, dishwasher detergent and possibly egg crates for the beds.

Great Vacation Home for Large Group

We had an amazing time at this property over the span of 4 days / 3 nights. We were a large group but never felt like we were walking over each other. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils. We brought a lot of our own things because we weren't sure what was in the house. The location is beautiful and we liked that the other homes in the area weren't right next door. The bedrooms are pretty spacious, however the beds are extremely squeaky. Every single move would be followed with loud noises. Not easy to sleep with if you are sharing the room/bed with others. Also, it would have been nice if the bathrooms came with a hand towel and hand soap. The house was overall clean however it desperately needs a new broom and mop! Both were filthy when we used them everyday to clean up. It wouldn't hurt to keep a few cleaning supplies also, a lot of people are coming in and out of the house so germs can easily be passed along to others. All in all, we can't wait to stay at the Acorn again for our next ski trip.

Over all, the stat was great, only a couple minor issues

For the most part, everything was awesome! The place was very clean and everything worked. I have seen some complaints about this property that the cooking pans and stuff were not good and took forever to cook, but I did not have this problem( May be that some people are not use to cooking with electric stoves). The only "issues" i would say that we had was that the Hot Tub was turned down to 58 degrees when we arrived, so we could not use it right away. The only other thing was that the beds were not very comfortable at all. They are very springy and noisy, reminded me of a college dorm mattress. If you rent this house, bring one of those foam egg crate mattress toppers.
