Just 2 miles to Pinehurst Village, 3-7 miles from other area courses and 7 miles to Southern Pines. Some of the best dining options in the area are just a short drive away. So come stay at Payne`s Playhouse and enjoy the best Pinehurst has to offer. Whether in town for world-class golf, friends/family or other event, we have everything you need for a luxurious, comfortable stay.

This home is grand - in size and style. Basically two houses stacked on top of each other (each with full-sized kitchens), the home was just renovated and furnished with all new, modern furniture and decor. With lots of space for families or friends to spread out, there are ample rooms and seating areas both upstairs and down. Straight down from our location by lovely promenade is the world-famous Pinehurst Country Club and renown “Number 2” championship golf course - where Payne Stewart won the U.S. Open in 1999. A few blocks further, you`ll find the 111-acre equestrian facility and historic Pinehurst Harness Track and Restaurant.

Everything in Pinehurst is a special experience, and this house is in the perfect location to enjoy it all without making anything an excursion.

The entire home is made available for guests! However, we do ask that short-stay reservation sizes that can be accommodated by the first floor only not access the lower floor (the first floor has 3 beds, 1 sofa bed (in its own room) and 2 1/2 baths.) We can offer guests a reduced cleaning fee for short stays, but we are charged quite a bit more for cleaning the entire home. We appreciate your help with this.

We are very responsive in the app or by phone; however, we are not in town on a consistent basis to help with onsite needs. We do have reliable support in the area should there be an emergency that needs attention.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood on Pinehurst Country Club. Large, stunning pine trees surround the home creating a wooded oasis.

Everything is close by, getting anywhere in Pinehurst is only minutes away. Just 2 miles to Pinehurst Village, 3-7 miles from other area courses and 7 miles to Southern Pines. Some of the best dining options in the area are just a short drive away.

Easy to get around quiet neighborhood. Very little traffic. Please park in driveway and stay off streets if possible. We`ve never had trouble finding parking around town as well.

Let us know if you won`t be using all the beds - we can work with you on the cleaning fee if it`s a shorter stay.

And we know how important it is to wake up with coffee and have paper towels, trash bags, towels and other necessities on hand - especially the morning after arrival! We provide enough for a couple days - for either a short stay or to get a longer stay started!
This house is not set up for gathering or parties. We respect and appreciate our neighbors, so we hope you respect that and replicate that relationship.
