Bienvenue à Pearl Beach House / Small Families

Maison en forme de dôme en béton 'Free Form'. Style 'Beach Rustic'. Ce n'est pas un logement de luxe. Pas de piscine, les Caraïbes sont dans la cour avant. La propriété est propre, confortable et amusante. La beauté de cette propriété est son emplacement et son intimité. La propriété est au nord de Placencia Village, à environ 20 minutes à pied de la plage pour accéder au trottoir de Placencia Village qui traverse le centre du village, à 10 minutes en vélo ou à 2 minutes en taxi. Facile à marcher jusqu'à la piste d'atterrissage depuis la maison (5 minutes max) et appeler ou prendre un taxi depuis le terminal de l'île Maya ...(qui dispose également de la climatisation pour votre attente si nécessaire). Les taxis peuvent vous livrer à votre porte à votre retour. L'emplacement permet un accès rapide au village, mais votre propre cour et propriété pour l'isolement et le calme quand vous le souhaitez, sans le bruit de la zone du village. Épicerie complète sur la route, à l'extrémité nord du village. Magnifique gardien et famille sur la propriété. Portes de sécurité.

2 à 6 personnes selon les dispositions de couchage. 2 chambres dont une avec lit double. une avec lit queen. 2 futons qui ouvrent pour des lits jumeaux. 1 plateforme de couchage en béton se transforme en lit d'appoint. Cuisine complète; cafetière, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes. Eau chaude au gaz «à la demande». Eau de puits artésienne, potable au robinet! Maison familiale avec jardin tropical privé; Orchidées, palmiers, papillons, iguanes et oiseaux. Porche privé au toit de chaume avec portes de la porte d'entrée de la maison. .... 240 pieds. plage de sable au-delà du jardin. Serviettes de plage. Chaises à la plage. Beaucoup de livres, de dames et d'échecs. Télévision par câble. Table de jeu. AC et 2 ventilateurs de plancher. Les fenêtres s'ouvriront sur le jardin / porche si vous n'utilisez pas la climatisation. Gardiens sur place pour toutes questions. Blanchisserie et service de ménage supplémentaire payant. Des serviettes et des draps propres sont disponibles. Louez un téléphone portable au Belize à votre arrivée à Belize International. Bureau BTL à travers le parking, demandez à l'aéroport. Les téléphones portables BZ sont peu coûteux et pratiques pour appeler des taxis, des voyagistes et communiquer pendant que vous êtes dans le village. Épicerie et banque à moins d'un mile. Nombreux restaurants dans village et péninsule. Des guides de pêche, des guides touristiques et des opérateurs de plongée viendront vous chercher à la maison. Le Belize a une haute saison et une basse saison. Vous avez besoin d'un passeport pour entrer au Belize.

Pearl Beach House is great! Our family really enjoyed it. The price can’t be beat and it’s nice!

We loved everything about the place! What a great beach and the location is perfect for running to the town for anything you need. Pablo does a great job keepin the grounds beautiful and Stefano gave us the scoop on all the best places to eat and have fun. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Beautiful oceanfront gardens, eccentric and intriguing house.

It has its own private pier and beach with idyllic tropical garden. Plenty of space to relax in the round house.

Beautiful, clean, unique house with excellent AC, WiFi, etc. Best of all is a virtually private beach with both shade and sun (even a sheltered hammock), and pier. A few small planes take off/land at the airport next door and are fun to watch--daytime flights only and they aren't very loud, especially in the house. Would highly recommend with no qualms.

Our family had a great stay. There were six of us and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Beautiful property and just steps to the beach. Nice and secluded. Near the airstrip. An easy walk into town via the road or the beach. Betsy the owner was very helpful and accommodating and promptly returned my emails. It was our first visit to Belize and I had a lot of questions. Thanks Betsy.

Beautiful beachfront lot

We loved this place! The house is fun and funky with an awesome porch for rainy weather. We felt like rock stars with the huge beautiful beachfront lot and caretakers on the property. Pablo and Anna brought us fresh coconuts and kept the property immaculate. There's only one neighbor who was having a party while we were there and was super nice. It's not the best swimming beach but you can walk a short distance to another beach or go into town and enjoy the pristine beach there. The town is also fun with inexpensive food and very friendly people. Can't recommend this place highly enough for a different type of beach vacation!

We are thrilled you found the property as fun as we do. We enjoy sharing this area w/ our guests. The beaches change with the currents and prevailing winds. Sometimes Rum Point is best, sometimes further into the main village...its all good! The best part is the relaxation..... we hope to see you again in Placencia.

best vacation ever

we stayed one week; my husband and I and another couple and we fell in love with the place immediately. The manager, Stefano, was very welcoming and full of information. Anna And Pablo next door were wonderful. We were amazed with how well-maintained the house and property were. Clearly, there was a lot of love that went into the place. The beach was, without a doubt, the nicest, and cleanest that we saw in the area. There were so many wonderful trees and flowers. We spent a lot of time on the porch and we enjoyed watching sunrises from the dock. We were all really sad to leave at the end of the week. the Pearl Beach Dome House is a very special and magical place.

A little slice of heaven but bring bug spray

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pearl Beach House. The property is as described, if you looking for luxury, there are plenty around Placencia, but this ain’t it. Instead you’ll find a very unique house, my kids named it the hobbit house, a gorgeous and well maintained back yard with a private beach and dock and lots of privacy. While secluded the house it’s 5 min drive from town, we ate there lunch and dinner, but you can definitely cook a meal in the kitchen, lots of pots and pans and utensils. We’ve actually enjoyed having the little planes take off from the airstrip next door, there are not that many. My kids loved the water, jumping from the dock and playing with the caretakers daughter. Pablo and Ana are wonderful people and do such a great job taking care of the place. The only negative I can think are the bugs but thats The climate, but I’m just letting you know: bring bug spray!

The bugs..... your correct, come w/ the country.... they are better and worse depending on the current weather and winds. We are happy you enjoyed your stay! Unforgettable Stay

We have an amazing one week stay here, after spending the previous week in the jungle of Belize (Cayo). First and foremost, and the best part about our stay here - were our neighbors, Pablo and Anna. What amazing people! People like that you don't come across often, and when you do - you remember them forever. From the first day Pablo was out teaching my husband how to use the machete so we could cut down our own coconuts (which we enjoyed every day - I've never tasted coconut SO SWEET! All the fruits we ate in Belize were so FLAVORFUL and sweet). The property is right on the beach, we had our own private dock and plenty of hammocks just to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing in. The property is the perfect distance away from Placencia village to enjoy perfect quiet and privacy (laying out on the dock on a clear night enjoying the stars in complete blackness was one of my favorite memories of this trip) - but it's also the perfect distance to bike into town every day. What an incredible visit. The house itself is so unique and cozy, and all the extra fans inside and the extensive library were so appreciated! This place is really special.

Excellent place to get away and relax

Pearl Beach House is a quiet comfortable place to relax and unwind. It has everything needed to chill out. Well suited to those that want to get away and not have a big touristy type experience. On property caretakers are there if you need anything and town is just a short taxi ride away (or a longer walk on the beach). Easy to stock up on groceries and spend a whole week on the property without leaving. Fully expect to return in the coming years. Property manager was responsive and very helpful.

Pearl Beach House was very comfortable for our party of 3. Beautiful private beach and dock for relaxing. Fishing was great! A short walk along the beach takes you into Placencia. Cabs are easy to find if you prefer. Would book this location again when visiting Placencia.

Perfect

Lovely yard with a huge variety of mature trees gradually leads to a beach with gentle ocean waves. The private planes from the landing strip next door buzz your head while you're swimming and jumping off the dock. We'll be back next year!

Thank you Jessica. We try to keep the Pearl Beach Properties feeling like private homes .... the whole property is yours. Both the 'beach house' and the 'guest apartment' have their privacy and private porch areas.... everyone enjoys the yard & beach... as it was 30 years ago in this area.... not just cement and sand! The small planes are fun, flying off the beach side airstrip to the South, and become your clock of sorts, with the AM / PM flights. Nice place. Beach access is awesome. Caretakers were very helpful.

House was in perfect location. Small planes over the pier is a treat. Only complaint is that the neighbors have dogs 3 or 4 that bark incessantly at all hours. We will be returning to Placencia, here if dogs are gone.

Lovely stay

Exactly as described. This was a quiet property right on the beach. Lots of palms and coconut palms in the yard area that helped to make it quiet and secluded. Awesome floor plan—lots of room and the house was very unique. Stefano, Ana, and Pablo were so very attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Not a new luxury property for sure! Its a blast from the Belize Past. We keep it clean and improved, but always tell our guests its not a new or luxury property. An acre of private garden/yard, dock and quiet beach.... We are glad you enjoyed your stay w/ us.

Cool, unique, private property

Loved our stay!! The beach was our front yard!! Beautiful flowers, trees, coconuts and lots of SAND!! Stephano, Pablo, and Ana were all very friendly, and professional!! The “mushroom house” was very unique, spacious, ( could actually sleep 7-9 people) and perfect location with your own beautiful dock. So fun watching the pelicans dive bomb for dinner, and waving, (and maybe once after a few cocktails mooning) the planes as they fly over the dock. A car, bicycle, or golf cart is nice to have for the trip to town, but can also walk(about 1/2 hr) by beach or road. Super nice deck, with lights, chairs and hammock. Super fun place!!

Fun And Unique Lodging Experience!

Great location! It is close enough to all shops and restaurants in Placencia but still peaceful and quiet. Steps from the beach. Stefano, the property manager was very helpful with many great suggestions and a pleasure to deal with.

Too Far from Village

If you want seclusion on a nice beach this is it. I found it too far away from the village. It is also pricy for the conditions of the accommodation. Poor mattresses for the price.

There are many taxis to take you the 3 minute trip to 'the village'. This is the place if you want seclusion! We bill the property as away from the noise of the village. Apparently this guest missed that mention. The house and Guest House have all new mattresses. The couches also have new cushions and covers as of August 2017. We do our best to keep the house, clean, comfortable and fun... again, this is not a resort or spa type atmosphere.

Perfect Location!

After spending a week at the Pearl Beach House, my boyfriend and I are already talking about going back! The owner, Betsy, was very helpful and gave many recommendations prior to our arrival. Upon arrival, Stefano greeted us and got us set up at the house. He gave recommendations on where to eat and places to visit. Anna had the place spotless! She and Pablo were so helpful and welcoming, it was nice to have them right next door. The house itself was probably the most unique place we have ever stayed. The round structure made it welcoming and open. It was spacious, the water was hot, and the porch was a tranquil place to lay in a hammock. Additionally, it was so nice to have our own kitchen to cook breakfast instead of worrying about finding a restaurant. The grocery stores weren't far away, so we were able to get everything we needed. The highlight of this house for us was the property! It was gorgeous and very well maintained! It seriously could be on a postcard! We were happy to spend our mornings sipping coffee on the quiet beach and the sunrises were beautiful! We spent 3 days fly fishing with a local guide who even picked us up right off of the dock. The location really can't be beat. It is far enough away from the village to allow us to escape into our own little world, but close enough to visit whenever we wished. When leaving, we even cut across the beach and walked to the airstrip. That was the first time we had done that! We absolutely loved this place and hope to visit again soon!

Awesome

We spent 2 weeks in Belize with friends and ended our trip with a 3 day stay here. Awesome!!! #1 Stefano the property manager was great. ..he met us and gave us all the information needed for the area and was very accommodating. #2 Pablo and Anna, the caretakers for the property. Very kind, very hospitable, beautiful children who showed us the ropes regarding everything to be found in the water. The home is very unique, like the Flintstones! We loved it. The property was gorgeous, coconut trees everywhere. We ate so much coconut and drank so much coconut water!! The beach is truly private, and peaceful. The surrounding area has some great local food, Gelato that is the best I've had. The locals are friendly and funny. We will definitely look up Stefano the next time we visit this area to stay at this house or one of the many other properties that he manages.

Pearl Beach Dome House

We spent two wonderful weeks at this amazing house - very cool unique house, just perfect for our family reunion. We flew in from U.S., Europe and Australia and met up in Placencia. Stefano, the agent, gave us the warmest welcome at the airport and we felt like we had found a new friend. Upon arrival at the house, we were all just thrilled with our new home from home. Anna and Pablo, the caretakers, were extremely kind during our stay. Although we didn't meet the owner, she was amazingly attentive to our needs - and she obviously picked the right people to represent her on the spot. Gorgeous tropical flowers were placed around the house. Plenty of brightly colored towels in the bathroom, a great shower, plenty of kitchenware so we could cook and eat our meals in when we wanted. We got fresh fish down by the port as the fishermen came in. We loved the wrap-around veranda and the pretty outdoor lighting. The garden and the beach are just paradise - very well tended and nice safe swimming. We were sad to leave, and we'll treasure the memories. I have to say that Pearl Beach Dome House, garden and beach, will now be our benchmark for future reunions. It was just perfect! You'd better Belize it!

We are very happy you had a wonderful stay at the property. We all love that small piece of Belize ... and we enjoy sharing our special place in the sun, rain, and whatever comes our way when we are there.

Family fun Trip

Had a really good time at the Pearl Beach Dome House. It was an Awesome place. You had a nice private beach to hang out in the hammocks and eat fresh Mangos crack coconuts open and eat other fruits, about 300 feet of beach all to yourself. There was a little dock on the property that was nice for kids to fish off, or snorkel around. The house in general was nice and roomy. It was like an Igloo, great fun for the kids. Reminded me of the Flintstone House, from Bedrock. Had a full kitchen where you could cook your own food that you bought or caught. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ready to help you out with what ever you needed. Thanks for the great experience. I would defiantly stay here again with my family.

Your Igloo on the Beach

We loved our funky little beach house! It looks just like an igloo inside...or a space ship! Bed is comfy, shower is hot. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, but plan to go shopping as there was nothing (not even cooking spray or salt!) to cook with. The porch is a wonderful place to sit and read or have your morning coffee. The beach was just lovely...perfect white sand. You should plan to bring water shoes, though, because there tends to be a lot of sea grass. (This is true in all of Belize. If you are looking for a beach vaca, you may want to look elsewhere.) The property manager, Stefano, was very helpful with advice as to where to eat and shop. The caretakers live next door and are happy to do laundry for a small fee. (It helps to speak a little Spanish.) We will definitely come back to Pearl Beach House next time we're in Placencia!

We also enjoy the 'Mothership' at Pearl Beach. Fun. Did you notice the Crab Nebula painted on the inside of the dome? The Turtle Grass comes and goes with the currents and wave action...sometimes further South, sometimes North... sometimes none at all. Good to swim either way to avoid it sometimes...but it is named for its importance for food for the sea life. Sea Turtles still come up on the beach there to lay their eggs...we protect the nests...its amazing. If you ask Anna for some salt or cooking oil she will get you through till you can go to the store. We cannot leave oils in the house as they will get rancid easily w/o the AC on. I'll tell her to leave the salt and pepper LOL. Belize has bugs...so we keep the house striped of anything that may draw bugs. We are happy you enjoyed the property, and you are welcome anytime!

We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment! We felt that we were the ones who had the most beautiful property down there- sitting on the porch reading with coffee, trying to identify all the birds, strolling through the garden when heading to the beach, then lounging on a chair or in a hammock with the waves lapping the shore... The caretakers Pablo and Anna kept the house and grounds in great condition, and the property manager Stefano had all kinds of info for us upon our arrival. We rented bikes, and its a short ride into the village, where we found all kinds of shops and Top Notch restaurants- we never had a bad meal. People were friendly everywhere. We loved our vacation there!
