The updated open kitchen and breakfast bar allow for great entertaining and enjoyment. Both bedrooms are large enough to easily fit king-size beds. The unit is equipped with washer and dryer.
Runaway Bay is a gorgeous vacation resort on stunning grounds between the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay has been voted 'Best Resort' by Bradenton Herald. Enjoy the large heated pool, tennis court, exercise room, shuffleboard, and a private fishing pier on the bay. Runaway Bay also provides picnic tables and charcoal grills around the property for guests to use. Runaway Bay is also conveniently located to historic Bridge Street with its restaurants, bars and shopping. Free private Beach Access is located just across the street of the community. The popular Anna Maria Trolley stops right outside the complex and allows you to explore this beautiful island.

The room was clean and the location was perfect for us. An easy walk to bridge street and less than 200 yards to the beach!!!! We’ve stayed at a few dozen VRBO orShort term rentals. This is the first one that didn’t have a grain of salt, not a pod of coffee, not a beach chair. In contrast over NYE in Key West all non perishables left in a closet and if we choose to use some we could. The dryer did break and I must say the management company had someone there the next morning! It would be 5 stars with just a little love from the owners.

Great place to stay. Close walk to the beach. Property was well maintained. Not too many people on the beach. We always got a front row seat at the water without worrying about another group jumping in front of us. We will definitely be back!
