This furnished apartment is located in North Park, a funky district located northwest of San Diego's downtown. If you live for craft beers, fair-trade coffee, and artisanal goods, this is the neighborhood for you. University Avenue is lined with cafes, restaurants and indie boutiques. North Park's restaurant scene includes everything from vegan fare to authentic taquerías. There are also several large grocery stores in the neighborhood, making it easy to cook for yourself. Other neighborhood highlights include Balboa Park, the North Park Thursday Market, and Observatory North Park, a refurbished Depression-Era theater that hosts live music after dark.
