Charming cottage: ocean views, steps from beach, dog friendly! New Master Bath!

This beach cottage is magical and in the perfect location - beach living at its best! We are also dog friendly! The primary living space is on the second floor but there is a surprise on the ground floor - additional living and entertaining space with separate access to make this cottage the perfect vacation rental.

Close to both downtown Emerald Isle and 20 minutes from Atlantic Beach/Morehead City this location home is central to all of the Crystal Coast. There is also nearby is a boat ramp that is easy to access. There is plenty of parking on the back side of the house.

The amenities at this cottage are terrific - all you need and more to enjoy beach life. There is plenty of space for outdoor enjoyment. The porch wraps around most of the house providing beautiful beach and sound views! The front porch faces the ocean and has outdoor seating. The side porch boasts loungers for the sun lovers and the back porch has the sound view and a great screened in porch with a television, a perfect place for reading or naps! Downstairs there is additional outdoor seating and a fenced in yard for kids and dogs! There is also a huge, private outdoor shower with a dry area for dressing.

The inside is amazing with plenty of windows to catch the views in every room! The front of the house has glass sliders that offer amazing beach views! On the main floor the cottage has a cozy family room, large kitchen with a huge island perfect for socializing over meals. There is also a table that seats 4 and two pantries with plenty of room for storage.

There are three bedrooms on the main floor as well. The front bedroom has a queen bed and has glass sliders that open up to the front deck providing amazing beach views. The middle guest room (Turtle Room) has a queen bed with plenty of storage. The master bedroom is oversized with a king bed, plenty of closets and an outstanding view of the sound! NEW for 2026 - we added a full master bathroom with a shower! There is a full bathroom on the main floor with shower/tub.

The ground floor has access from both the front and back of the house and is another terrific space for entertaining. This living area is really an additional suite that includes:
- a sitting area with large television,
- desk for those that have to work,
- a wet bar with small fridge/microwave/coffee maker,
- plenty of storage,
- king bed,
- large full bath with washer and dryer (shower only)
- porta-crib and infant tub available upon request

We renovated the property with the goal to keep the authentic cottage feel while providing all the amenities of modern living - beautifully decorated and fully functional!

- Fully stocked kitchen for those that like to cook and all necessary
appliances including a separate ice maker, air fryer, toaster, crockpot, dual
carafe/pod coffeemaker, griddle, blender, etc

- Beach chairs and beach towels
- Beach wagon, cooler
- Charcoal grill and tools
- Aloe plant for those occasional sunburns!

The cottage has great views but even better both the beach and sound are steps away! There are two beach access points right across the street in the front and sound access across the street in the back! The sunrise and sunsets are simply amazing and you can enjoy both from the beach, sound or from the large porch!

Close by attractions:
Tons of local shopping and restaurants, side walks that are great for walking/riding bikes, Bogue Pier, historical Swansboro, mini golf and water park, NC Aquarium, Fort Macon, several local golf courses, Morehead City - home of Big Rock and historic downtown Beaufort are just a few local attractions minutes away!
