Just what we needed

Property was in the center of everywhere we needed to go over the weekend. Close to several shopping centers. Property was clean. Host was easy to communicate with.

The house was fine. Little dated for sure. Wish there were curtains on the bedroom windows instead of just blinds. Was very bright. Could have used hand towels in the bathroom instead of just wash rags. Would have liked soap or body wash for the shower instead of just shampoo. Decent neighborhood, but houses right on top of each other, no privacy sitting on back deck. Overall, was fine.

I felt like the property was way over priced to start.

The owner didn’t let us know when the garbage went out so come over to empty the can. I appreciated that but then let himself in to “ turn out the light “. The was a bat flying around in the basement with guano all over the floor. Parking was horrible with narrow streets and cars everywhere. We moved to a different property that was much better She offered to us. I don’t like to complain but it was ridiculous. I believe the owners or manager came in the property at least a couple of times while we were at work.

Just a couple issues but resolved

The entry stairs are steep and could use a railing on one of the sides as it's a little precarious as is. There were 2 days where a couple windows were open when we returned in the evening. Once we locked them there were no further issues. Owner was surprised by this. Also the area that the duplex is in has an extremely busy auto/parking issue and thus the street access is very narrow. Not much can be down about this but it should be address by the owner to potential renters.
