Location and property grounds are fantastic. Lots of room for kids to run around and explore. Communication with the host was very easy and they were quick to help with anything asked. Quiet, secluded property at the end of a long driveway. I wouldn’t call it a negative but if I could offer constructive criticism, I’d recommend the owner place some blankets on the sofas and chairs. It would have been nice to cover up on the couches but we couldn’t find any extra blankets. This didn’t hinder the great time we had tho

Nice house with pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and towels for the six of us. The pool was a game changer with temperature hovering around the century mark. Hot tub was an added bonus. Chuck, the owner, always responded quickly to all of our questions. Grocery and other stores nearby in easy driving distance.

First, the pics shown in the rental listing make the home look better than it is. It’s very dated. No one met us at the home on day 1 to show us around and make sure we understood how things worked and that the house was up to our satisfaction. I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this is what always happens. Also, the cleanliness of the home was subpar. There were insects in all the bathrooms. The master bathroom shower is very dated and has a slight mold. The light for the master bedroom didn’t work. You required an access code to change the thermostat; which was not provided. The rooms on the top level were boiling like a sauna because there was no air flow. The pool looked beautiful on day 1. After that, not so much. The water went from full to half full in a day and half. They did send the pool guy to check it out, but he didn’t do anything to fix the problem. The hot tub originally was dirty upon arrival. The pool guy came and put a ton of bleach in it which made it unusable as the bleach was too strong which made breathing difficult. The bottom step of the ladder leading into the pool was broke! This is very dangerous and one of us could have been seriously hurt. Apparently, the shower knob in the Master is positioned backwards and hot is cold and cold is hot. There was no warning regarding this and I didn’t find out until the handyman came by after we had put in a call about the water. I ran out of room listing all my disappointments about this property.

Hidden Gem With Lots of Outdoor Space

This private VRBO was the perfect place to host a get together of long time friends. We had a great time using the pool and the grounds had a lot of space for badminton, volleyball, and bocce ball. The inside was great for hosting, with a large dining room table and fully dedicated game room. Our group had an absolute blast using all these unique and fun amenities. There were a handful of minor things that kept this place from being rated 5-stars. The pool and hut tub area needs a lot of upkeep - the stones surrounding the area had lots of trash, including cigarette butts and the occasional piece of broken glass. The wooden lounge chairs were rotted and worn down, with exposed screw points. The picnic table had a lot of holes and mold on it. Many of the outdoor outlets did not work. Regardless of these issues, we enjoyed the pool to the fullest. We just moved the broken items out of the way and stayed aware of where we were walking without shoes. We also had some confusion trying to sleep 9 people, as the extra cots and blankets seemed spread about in different locations (no written instructions were provided when we arrived). But we eventually figured it out. All-in-all, I was very pleased with our stay. The host was communicative and the location was extremely quiet/private. I would consider re-booking this for future summer trips.
