Lieu de villégiature de premiÚre classe - Teach Mor au Priory Killarney Courtyard

Confortable et confortable au Priory Killarney Courtyard Cottages - Détendez-vous dans la grande salle aux plafonds voûtés et aux plafonds avec poutres apparentes. Teach Mor est un deux niveaux, 3 chambres avec 2 lits queen (chambre numéro 2 a un lit simple ainsi) 2 salles de bains, et à l'étage a une reine plus un lit simple, un chalet ouvert avec un grand salon / cuisine. Construit neuf en 2007. La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée et il y a aussi une laveuse / sécheuse. 8 personnes confortablement.

Situé à la porte du parc national de Killarney, nous avons quatre Courtyard Stone Cottages, tous de conception et d'aménagement différents. Les chalets sont nichés dans un cadre trÚs belle et assez murée de la cour.

Nous sommes juste à cÎté de la route de Muckross. Une promenade de 15 minutes dans le centre-ville de Killarney. Une piste cyclable menant à Muckross House and Gardens se trouve de l'autre cÎté du pont Flesk.

À seulement 5 minutes à pied de l'INEC - Gleneagle Hotel.

Quiet and cozy in the Center of it All

A truly excellent location. Quaint and private but easy access to Killarney town and area activities. The cottage was outfitted with everything we needed for our family and the setting is lovely. You feel transported to another era but with all the modern conveniences. The host’s care and thoughtfulness of family needs was evident throughout. Plus they provided helpful hints and tips for exploring the local area.

Excellent Experience

Great home. Very clean with excellent water pressure. It’s away from the touristy area but easily accessible to town and the National Park. Walkable to anything in town, Muckross Abbey and House. Highly recommended! We look forward to staying again in the future.

Great location, lovely hosts!

Excellent location, very charming, lovely house. Overall, everything was great, but we did not realize the stairs would be so steep for the second level bedroom. It was challenging at night if someone had to use the downstairs bathroom. But to be fair, we were three older women. There were two resident dogs and a cat, which were so much fun :-). Thank you Bernadette and Tim.

Golfing in Paradise

Loved the online description but our stay exceeded all expectations. Perfectly situated minutes from Killarney town centre; beyond charming exterior and modern but very cozy interior; all amenites superior; sparkling and still water via external taps was amazing; property manager super helpful and shared wonderful local knowledge. Just not possible to imagine a better experience all the way around.

Tim & Bernadette were wonderful; close enough if needed and provided maps and recommendations for excursions, pubs, etc. Glad we had a car for Ring of Kerry excursion and Tim’s suggestions were spot on! Only sad to leave.

Peaceful refuge close to city center

We truly enjoyed returning to the priory cottage after exploring several idyllic Irish towns. Bernadette welcomed us so warmly and their sweet pup Teddy was always there to greet us at our door in the morning. Being so close to Killarney center and St.Marys Cathedral was a big plus. We recommend a stay here for sure and we hope to return soon!

10/10 recommend staying here. The property is beautiful and located close (but not too close) to the center of Killarney. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They have a couple of cute dogs who walk around throughout the day.

Bernadette and Tim O’Donoghue met in The Windy City of Chicago a few years back. We acquired the property in 2002. We then returned from Chicago in 2004.
Bernadette was a paralegal secretary and is now a stay at home Mom and an excellent baker, I am an electrician by trade but got into construction during my 14 years in Chicago. I restored several old houses and classic vintage apartment buildings during my time there. I coupled this experience with Bernadette’s keen eye and interior design savvy to create some wonderful finishes and unusual touches. We began the colossal rehab project in 2004 to restore the Priory to its former glory, it was basically completed it in 2007 or is it ever complete I like to ask myself ?

We pride ourselves in welcoming you into our place.

I grew up in Killarney, where my parents owned a camping site and I truly loved meeting visitors on a daily basis. We have 4 children and we wanted to raise them here in Ireland, so we said we would give it a shot and here we are. When this property became available we realized how unique it was and what a fantastic opportunity it would be to own The Priory.

We are in a key location, a 15 minute walk from town but it feels like we are in the heart of the countryside where you cannot hear a sound by night.
You will get a quiet private house to yourself where you can come and go as you please. You can cook when you want and have the full use of the 1.5 acre property on private grounds. You can sit back and relax in the front of the wood burning stove fire sipping a nice Irish whiskey or reading a good book with the sweet smell of turf burning away. You will get the real feel of Irish living and live like we live ourselves while visiting in your home away from home.
We are on site owners who are here to help you in any way you require and assure a wonderful stay. We have invaluable knowledge about the local area from cultural information to hikes, local food joints to off the beaten track drives. We can organize in-house chef, or poetry recital or to a music session.
